I agree with you. I wondered that he signed it as he thought the SC would rule it unconstitutional. :-(

Hi .. you mean-spirited, rich, tax-cut loving, stingy, corrupt conservative spies ;).

Out of the mix today ... because my guys and I couldn't fit our gifts to each other in our luggage when we went north for Christmas, we're having our Christmas today .. along with football playoffs and potluck.

PS .. I LOVE that the soldier got up and went in the face of Murtha and Moran ... I expect more will do so, and it can't be soon enough, and they should be damn mad at this disgusting behavior from officials of the United States government in wartime.

I'm also tempted to start calling these Rat idiots and tell their staff: Is he/she that stupid?? Doesn't he/she know that there's millions of us keeping track of their comments and positions from years ago, that there are transcripts and videos available to everyone, that the internet and new media have brought them down from their sanctified pedestals, that we know their contradictions, hypocrisy, lies, and changed positions???" And then .. laugh..... because they are so stupid. I think THEY'RE the ones who are in a bubble and insulated from the reality today..

Keep unveiling the evil Rats .. their ignorance and evil .. show them for what they are, take the gloves off and leave no stone unturned. We are up against a mighty enemy, and we are called upon to discern and tell the truth, but we must also have faith in the Lord above and never lose sight of Him and His plan.

"And an angel rides in the whirlwind and directs this storm."

Carry on, and c ya next week ;)

I said on another thread that this was a case of reporters/media men sticking together.

Actually to be fair to Juan when he is not on the panel or bought in specifically to defend RAT policies he comes over as reasonable and quite likeable.

IMHO I think at times he goes way over the top in an attempt to emphasize his point but instead of doing that he makes himself seem very stupid and foolish.

He works for NPR. You could be right that he has some conservative ideas, but I think on the whole that would make him only a little less liberal.

He is for quotas, abortion, big government handouts, so I wouldn't make him that far to the right.

To his credit, I think that he probably gets a lot of grief because there's such a visceral reaction from the left to FoxNews.

This points out his problems.

Juan is for quotas but against them for purely racial reasons.

He's for abortion rights but against abortion personally.

He's for government support but acknowledges people have to make it on their own.

He's for affirmative action but not special rights.

Juan just cannot make up his mind. LOL

He saw poll which said that the majority of Americans believed there was a culture war on Christmas after he saw this he admitted he was wrong.

You could say typical demoRAT controlled by the polls even over what they think about Christmas LOL

You have a very good point. You here all these stupid pat assumptions by supposed "Intellectuals" how the Iranians will never use a nuke it would be National Suicide". For people who preach "multiculturalism" the Western "Intellectuals" are an amazingly provical, ignorant bunch. Mutual Assured Destruction ONLY works if both sides are convinced the other side WILL act.

I suspect the Mullahs of Iran have watch all the grotesquely stupid partisan politicking by the Democrats lead by Kerry, Murtha, Pelosie, Dean et al; seen the spineless appeasement in Old Europe, read our Junk Journalists and really figure the US lacks the guts to do anything to them. I suspect that they also BELIVE all the disinformation spewed forth by the Western "Journalists" about the "quagmire in Iraq". The situation is SO ripe for either them or us to make a miscalculation.

It is like watching a car sliding on ice in slow motion. The crash is inevitable. The ONLY thing that MAY save us is Bush. They have the object lesson of the Taliban and Saddam Hussein to look at. Bush does NOT bluff. However, how do you coexist with someone who "KNOWS" his "god" wants you dead?

:-) That may be true, but I like him LOTS better than Ceci Connelly. Maybe it's because she seems to smirk a lot and it's the teaching experience that makes me want to send her to the chalkboard to write "I will respect my coworkers" 100 times. LOL!

:-) As I said, I like him better than I like Ceci.

I like Mara too. Except when she talks about supporting abortion rights, I get creeped out. But she doesn't seem to be a hothead and she really tries to make a substantive point.

We all come back, or we all die together

It is often said that the really tough guys are the ones who get up and go to work every day. Without doubt, it is a group of really tough guys who go down into the mines everyday, out of sight and out of mind to too many of us, we who live in the day light and only think of them when something goes haywire, underground, in a faraway state.

Coal mining is a dangerous business and, like structural firefighting, results in a strong bond of friendship and equally powerful ties of brotherhood. Firefighters never have to ask each other if the other members of the engine or truck company will come back for them if something goes wrong. They know they will and it is therefore foolish and a waste of time to ask about this unwritten rule. This principle, though invisible, and emblazoned on every rig and in every bunk room, just as it is in every heart, says they will all come back or they will all die together. The same rule holds for miners.

Like firefighters, miners are generational. Grandfathers and fathers pass down skills and knowledge to kids. Just as firefighters walk into firehouses and flames together, so the miners walk into locker rooms and the deep mines together, in a day to day fight against gravity, the vagaries of coal seams, the pockets of poison gas, and the perils of sudden explosions. And knowing the risks, they either return to the surface or die together. You just never know when the day might come.

Imagine the men huddled together in the twilight, illuminated by the fading yellow light of their helmet lamps. Calmly waiting for the help they knew the unwritten rule meant was coming or for their death. And here we find the incredible fearlessness instilled in them from their years underground. No one ran. No one went to pieces. Nobody was abandoned or left behind. No outlandish Hollywood histrionics. They stayed together and died together, a band of brothers, united in friendship........

read it all~!

He reminds me of the "catch me" killer, he writes legislation to keep himself from being a crook. The legislation says you cannot do this and that, and he has already done this and that, and is begging the legislation to keep him from taking the kickbacks again. The catch me killer wrote notes and left clues, begging to be stopped before he killed again. Are we seeing a similarity? WE SURE ARE!!!!!!!

Hello,

I tried, honest!! Actually, the few months before my 40th B-Day were harder than turning 40. Since then, I tend to forget my age and just enjoy life.

Glad to be here, MOgirl
