Another misconception spread by the media, even republicans believe - Bush is a bad communicator.

Is Bush really a bad communicator? Interesting article by Jay Nordlinger, NR editor.(Read it in full)

George W. Bush is an interesting mixture: He is a Texan and an Easterner; he is Establishment and counter-Establishment; he is fancy and folksy; he is forceful and jocular; he is presidential and everyday.

His formal speeches tend to be elegant, polished affairs, composed by top-notch speechwriters (about whom, more later). But he does well enough on his own: whether winging it before an audience or responding to reporters. When he is most purely himself, he is blunt, unfussy, a little salty — Trumanesque.

He was asked about the status of Osama bin Laden. "He may be alive," the president said. "If he is, we'll get him. If he's not, we got him." Speechwriters could labor for weeks and not come up with anything better.

" List of Dems receiving money "

Yesterday, Peter Fenn , Democrat consultant was on some cable show with Pat Buchanan.
He made the statement that " no Democrat has ever taken any Abramoff money ."
And no one challenged him, not even Pat B.

but that briefings to Congress are/were not as broad as what the Congressional reporting statute prescribes.

Well, kind of. That was one of the straws that she seemed to be grasping at. One comment she made that had me laughing was that there wasn't any reason to think that the congresscritters couldn't be trusted with the information.

"Precisely - the Congresscritters want to diminish the Executive branch and gain some more power for themselves as pointed out so clearly by little Tommy Daschle last week in his tie rate. "

She, while being questioned by Brit, Hume said essentially, if she knew then (when she was first briefed on the program) what she knows now, she would have different views. When asked what she knows different now than before, she said "nothing"!

sheeeesh

All of what you say is true about the Media holding back any info but bad on President Bush. What would be a lovely trick to play on the Media creeps would be to come back from one of his Mountain Bike rides with at least 10 bandages all over various body parts. Then when the The creeps hysterically race to interview him about it trying to make him look stupid he rips off the bandages and says "Surprise, I am not injured at all, now lets talk about my plan to ...." (fill in the blank). He will have their undivided attention long enough for them to look stupid(stoo-pid) and for him to get off some good talking points before they realize that he just handed them their lazy, liberal a$$es on a platter. He can do this once a week til the end of his term because since he is a daredevil they will never know when it is true and the bandages covering up real injuries. After each interview where he snookers them he should walk away laughing, and really hurt their worthless so-called pride.

<< Anybody know who in the ranking GOP "decided"
to pull the "White Flag" attack ads on the dims?

Whatever happened to the indictments on
pardongate, chinagate, the bribes in upstate NY in the 2000 NY Senate race, waco, etc, etc,?

Why are Tom Delay and Scooter Libby under indictment
yet NOTHING ever happened with hanoi kerry,
klintoon, hitlery, al bore, or jane beno? >>

"Democrats" play at politics like Adolf Shicklegruber, Joe Stalin, Mao Tze Tung, Pol Pot and John Gotti played at being mass-murdering mobsters.

And real Republicans have too much moral integrity and self respect, are too busy creating, innovating, producing and manufacturing America's wealth and treasure and would no more go into politics than play catch with hand grenades.

So were're stuck with RINO netball players while the other side fields pit bulls and Mao-Joe-Hitlers.

That go a way toward answering your questions?

Does anyone really believe that the State of California will ban abortions?

The deception of hte left is compounded by the right not reminding everyone that if Roe v Wade is overturned by the USSC it will be returned to the States where they will decide whether to allow abortion or not.

Have to visit my terminally ill brother-in-law in the hospital. The combination of living with MS for 20+ years and bone cancer the past 4 are winning the battle.
If any of you feel like adding him to your daily prayers, please remember him. His name is Jake.

Prayers up for Jake and all concerned with his health and well being. And one for you too old_sage.

Very true virtually everyday he gives a speech but how often is it reported. Sometimes it is relayed live on the White House Website but not always, though the transcripts are there. Here are the January ones so far as you can see he has made a speech as I mentioned virtually everyday. January 2006 I personally do not like the word bully pulpit either it conquers up the wrong picture IMHO.

Think the RNC should purchase CNN or some such network and run Republican news 24/7. This way at least the playing field would start to become level since the RATS completely "own" the MSM by controlling what is to be said, who is to appear, what promos are run, etc., etc.

I'm writing the RNC, not that it will make any difference but you are right and I'll feel a little better. These questions tick me off everyday. I will always vote Conservative or Republican, unless it's a rino. But I'm telling that RNC to stop sending me notices for donation, don't call, etc. What you say, is the reason why I'm not compelled to donate. What are they doing?

I live in this state of NY stuck with Hillary. It disgusts me. They put Lazio out there last election and left him, on his own. RNC is not prepared to fight the next election from the lack of what they are doing now and what they have shown in the past.

It's mind boggling there have not been a public Republican out cry at the charges on Delay. They are not fighting any of the tactics of the Rat's lying schemes. Isn't that part of their responsibility to us? Geesh.
Image hosting by TinyPic /rant off, at least for now.

CA courts overturned voter approved limits on abortions, if I remember correctly.

On FNS,
Contrary to what's been said so far, Lindsey Graham was very good on FNS against Feinstein. Hume nailed Feinstein down on abortion being her main issue and that it will determine how she will vote. Graham said IF this were to happen, he would do everything he could to defeat any filibuster based on an abortion litmus test. Feinstein tried to change the conversation, but Brit Hume would not let her and between Graham and Hume's comments and questions, Feinstein admitted she would vote against Alito over the abortion issue no matter what other opinions he has.

The main point is Democrats are making One issue a litmus test for a Supreme Court Justice, admitting it openly without regard to their oath to the constitution.

The democrats are histerical in their attempts to go back in time to the Vietnam and Watergate stories. Teddy today said there hasn't been this much corruption in Congress since Watergate. These dems, and their mouthpieces in old media, are humorous to watch. Of all people talking about corruption, for the dems to put up the murderer Kennedy as their spokesman is simply amazing.

This statement - " no Democrat has ever taken any Abramoff money ." is being made all over the airwaves and in all the print media. NO ONE CHALLENGES IT - IT IS GOSPEL BECAUSE THE RATS SAY IT IS!! This kind of MSM infuriates me to no end.
