A number one priority should be to get DeLay re-elected. No half measures by the RFC.

Congressman Tom DeLay invites you to join him at a press conference today at the fountain in Sugar Land Town Square. The event will be held today (Saturday, January 7) at 2:00 pm. Everyone is invited to attend.

Now is not the time for the Nervous Nellies and RINOS to panic and dilute the conservatism of the GOP.

The Alito nomination is coming up fast, and Republicans must be prepared to end the filibuster that is surely coming from the liberal Democrat party.

If the GOP does not ensure the Alito nomination, they might as well mail in the results of 2006 and 2008.

Let's be conservatives, not mice.

The Republican party continues to be the party of cowards! I am so fed up with their gelatin spines! I'm telling you it gets harder everyday to support the party of wimps. All the dumocrats have to do is threaten and whine a little and they give in..sacrifice their own. They do not honor the dedication to real principle like people like DeLay and Katherine Harris have shown. Only to be dumped to save their own hides or hold back their support in an election. I am really getting tired of it.
And if George Bush doesn't do something about our borders I may give up altogether. I nearly got broadsided by a vanload of Mexicans (probably illegal) this morning.

God save this Republic!

Democrats win and the victory is handed to them by the weak-kneed Republicans.

Delay was SPENDING way too much.

He was a lightening rod for the libs who will of course move on to smear someone else.

Bottom line still:

As long as,

1) Libs threaten to Impeach Bush
2) Libs threaten to abandon our troops.
3) Justice Stevens and Ginsburg may retire or expire

Conservatives will vote in mass to keep the GOP in majority status.

If you look up the word wimp or spineless in the dictionary you will probably find a picture of a Republican politician.

They will do anything to avoid a fight.

They repeatedly give up the Republican leaders with some backbone to appease the democratic goon squad hoping they won't be next.

Newt, Bob Livingston, Lott and now Tom Delay. The reason they don't go after Hasster is because he was approved by them and is no threat.

They get our leaders on nothing while they stock their committees and leadership positions with people like Hillary ,Byrd, Dodd, Kennedy, Schumer,Hollings who should have been in jail or put against the wall and shot for their corruption and law breaking.

This kind of cowardice shows up in their policy making decisions.

This is why they give money to and negotiate with terrorists such as the PLO and Hamas and they will never establish a stable Iraq.

This is why they try to appease them by giving them a state of their own.

This is what directs them to pressure Israel to give into their demands while they slaughter their people.

This is why these terrorists have no respect for them because they know that our leaders don't have the guts to do what is necessary to win.

This is why the Democrats bully them around and kick sand in their faces and take their lunch money while they supposedly control the White House, The Senate, and House of Rep.

It takes much more than numbers to lead and win, it takes fighters who will stand their ground and take a bloody nose so they can give one.

They have the numbers but they don't have the stomach for a fight and everyone knows it, especially the Democrats and the terrorists.

He was saying just yesterday that he intended to stay in his post. Then last night on Fox it was reported that Ed Gillespie, the former RNC chair, was flying to Texas to twist his arm into resigning. I guess they worked him over pretty well.

Too bad. Tom Delay is solid. What a shame. Once he gets cleared I hope he works his way back up the leadership ladder.

Guilt and punishment by accusation. The next time a deocrat speaks about civil rights, first amendment, fourth amendment, fith admendment rights, tell them to go have sex with themselves. They convicted, on trumped up inuendo and guilt by association, a descent man who beat them at the game of politics, so they used the courts and the media to cut DeLays head off. The Republicans had better speak up and fight back and not continue to stand still while they get bullied out of office.

These officials spoke on condition of anonymity, saying they did not want to pre-empt the formal announcement.

This is a joke right?

Everybody just take a breath, and stop mourning this "loss". We'd all be much better off with a congress chosen randomly from a phone directory. The last thing we need are these career politicians running and ruining our lives.

All this R. vs D. bullsh*t is what has gotten us into this mess in the first place. Party, schmarty, they are all alike, and feed from the same trough of ignorance pulling the woool over our eyes as they go their merry ways of plunder.

Good and evil reside in the halls of congress just as they do in the general population. We now have 535 relatively evil people making decisions for and about us, and they ALL need to be sent packing.

We need real conservatives with real concerns about longterm success for this country' not a bunch of shameless charlatans with only their own careers and purses to consider. We've had, instead, about sixty years of buying votes with pork, pork, and more pork, and look where it has gotten us.
