I'm not sure this is a religious issue - I would hope the police would stop anyone from coming in and putting a substance on all the places where congressmen are going to sit.

I don't think it's a good thing that anyone can sneak into a Senate meeting room and apply anything to the seats therein without security finding out and doing something about it.

"Separatuion?"
Huh? Why no link to the source? How about copy and paste instead of this amazing misspelling?

""We did adequately apply oil to all the seats," Rev. Rob Schenck says."
Now that's what I call a slippery situation!

It's OK when it's "Christians" and their magic oil!

It's OK when it's "Christians" and their magic oil! As long as everyone understand that, we can all get along.

That was my headline. I don't know how to adjust a posting.

So they "secretly did it earlier..."
Schenk snuck, smeared, and scrammed, I guess.
Oil, huh? What kind of oil. Olive oil? Crisco oil?
If they can do it, why couldn't someone go in there and rub a solution of DMSO and some fast-acting poison on the seats?
Bunchawackos!

Apparently not. Nor how to spell. Posting here's not all that difficult, but it's really nice when the link (required) is included, so we can all read the whole story.

Do you have a link for this story?

What's your point? Allowing folks to just go into hearing rooms and rub "oil" around is not a conservative goal, last I heard.
What are these pastors trying to do? Magically help the committee make a decision? That doesn't sound like the way Christians do such things to me.
Do you not see the problem with this access of a committee room?

Yea. We secretly did it earlier, but we thought it would be fun to come back and get caught trying to do it again, thus risking our freedom and making a mockery of the sacred consecration process.
