I'm really sorry snugs. What a hard thing. My mother died suddenly 5 years ago. The following three days were the hardest in my life. It's just greuling. I pray you and your father will have peace and rest even in your grief.

I saw that a Letterman was totally disrespectful. Juan nearly burst a blood vessel in indignation saying that Letterman did not take into consideration that the Clinton administration before the Bush administration had the same information on WMD etc - I nearly fell out of the chair. I suppose when the chips are down reporters stick together.

Yeah, I bet she has. I know how that feels. I've got a difficult last name and almost no one pronounces it correctly.

The world is full of people who are just too lazy to really figure out how to pronounce a good many names. My maiden name was White but I sometimes had someone ask me how to spell it (and they were not kidding). I assume it was because it could be spelled with a "y" but still...

It's mind boggling isn't it? You know I have tried to relate to their point of view just to try to at least understand them and I have to stop because of a fear that I will experience a break with reality and have a psychotic episode!

Before we got caller ID, we could always tell who the telemarketers were because they completely skewered our last name.

What a dear friend you and your father have in Malcolm. A true friend. I'm glad his visit helped your father. Sometimes what we need is just someone to be there for us just like that.

It really helped dad it lifted him and also made him smile because it is so like Malcolm to get the venue muddled.
