lol~ how true. Well now I have a last name that works the same way! Even a few friends who have known us for YEARS don't pronounce it right. And it is SHORT! *SIGH*

I knew you would like that one...

Thank your snugs. Hello everybody. I have faith that we are going to have a good year. We have good people in Washington such as General Pace and others. There is good news ahead. I think Helen Thomas is prettier than Madeline Albright.
Back atcha :)
Hi Eleanor, thinking of you and your dad today.
Am glad you had friends by after, that helps.
Take care, know it has been a tough time for you.
ROFL! That's the only way Helen Thomas could be called pretty.
Did you see the look on Madeline Albright's face? Sucking lemons that woman is. And look at the light and happiness on the others in the picture. (I'd call Colin Powell's expression kind of neutral.)
I think Helen Thomas is prettier than Madeline Albright.
Is there anyone with you who can take your temperature?....LOL
THANK YOU PRESIDENT GEORGE W BUSH . . .
ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT
By Debra Saunders
Key quote:
"This whole NSA story reinforces the fact that Bush is willing to be unpopular, risk the White House even, to get the job done, while too many of his Democratic critics will walk over anyone to stand up for their lack of principles."

WORLD WAR SIX -- ANOTHER REASON GEORGE W BUSH MATTERS
By DJ Drummond (polipundit.com)
Key quote:
"And this is again where the mind of George W. Bush comes to play.
Attacking the terrorists in the countries of their own base was the best way to work against another major attack on our own soil. Destroying their network was the best way to prove the lie to their bragging. Establishing democracies in place of the tyrannies in Afghanistan and Iraq was the best way to show hope in spite of fear. And Bush knows how to read a map, well enough to give India and China the out he knows they will need eventually, even if they themselves do not yet realize that fact.
Thats why we will win."

. . . EXCELLENT SUMMATIVE COMMENTS FROM MARK NOONAN AT BLOGSFORBUSH.COM
. . . The Democrats - and especially the left-wing Democrats - just don't understand President Bush. To paraphrase a bit from the Lord of the Rings, the leftwing Democrats balance everything to a nicety in the scales of their malice, never imagining that others might view the world different. To our ever calculating leftists, it just doesn't make sense that President Bush would do what he does for the good of the country and the world...as they won't make a move unless it advances their political cause, they can't imagine anyone else acting differently.
The left views we who support President Bush either as dupes or as scoundrels - it is beyond their muddy dreams that we are doing what we do out of love: love of country, respect for a President fighting the good fight, hope for a tired and blasted world yearning for a better tomorrow.
All that we can do is wake up each morning and deal with the tasks of the day - after all, sufficient unto the day are the problems thereof. Part of our task seems to involve doing the right thing on behalf of people who have no conception of what we are doing, and thus they fight us tooth and nail. I've pretty well worked myself into a position where I no longer fret for tomorrow, nor carry regrets for yesterday...but I sleep well every night knowing that I tried to do my best during the day.
I'm pretty sure President Bush does, too.
