The Rev. Pat Robertson said Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is being punished by God for dividing the Land of Israel. Robertson, speaking on the 700 Club on Thursday, suggested Sharon, who is currently in an induced coma, and former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, assassinated by an Israeli extremist in 1995, were being treated with enmity by God for dividing Israel. He was dividing Gods land, Robertson said. And I would say, Woe unto any prime minister of Israel who takes a similar course to appease the E.U., the United Nations or the United States of America. God says, This land belongs to me. You better leave it alone.
They are #169 and #200.

2007 will be the fortieth years since Moshe Dyan gave back the Temple Mount to haSatan.
Some think that Israel has been in a 40 year wilderness because of it.

Gods word is unchanging.............this might seem like a problem but if you think about it............well its a good thing.
God's word may be unchanging, but not much else is. At any rate, the notion that the modern, secular nation called "Israel" has anything to do with the Chosen People of the Old Testament is quite a stretch.
I think you misread my post, and didn't read the post it was a reply to.
The Jews are still God's chosen people and always will be. Bible prophecy describes some terrible times ahead for Israel, and the Lord will have to physically save the Israelis from complete destruction in the end. I believe that the last "Joshua" is going to be Jesus Himself.
What a madman the senile old preacher Robertson is!
What is he going to say when God finally strikes him with a stroke, heart attack, or cancer?
Cute!
The RED STATE WON last night! Go TEXAS!

"This thread is filled with Biblically illiterate people,
who are cursing the darkness instead of seeking the light"
Why seek the light when the Lord lives in darkness?
""Then spake Solomon, the Lord said that he would dwell in the thick darkness." (I Kings 8:12. Repeated in II Chronicles 6:1) "And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies." (II Samuel 22:12) "He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies." (Psalm 18:11) "The Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice . . . clouds and darkness are round about him." (Psalm 97:1-2)
"The bible does say that The Lord, God of Abraham, God of Israel will strike down anyone who lays a hand against Israel."
Unless the enemy uses 'chariots of iron'. Seems God has difficulty defeating foes who use those:
""And the Lord was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron." (Judges 1:19)
Pat is a vicious bastard for saying this. Unbelievable.
This schmuck-on-wheels speaks for all of Christianity now?
"God warned against ANYONE dividing up HIS land."
God can keep that arid hellhole. I'd think God would prefer a place like Hawaii or Costa Rica over an ugly desert. Zero offense to you but is not the entire planet "HIS land"?
