I agree. I think you've called it perfectly.

If I were the traitor's lawyer, I would advise him to do exactly what he is doing. Get in front of the world as a "whistleblower". Puts you in the "untouchable" category.

I am willing to bet that the person no longer has a SECURITY CLEARANCE! Possible former FISA judge, maybe?

Link to thread on whistle blower statutes and why they cannot in no way shape or from be stretched to cover the Democrat Party's grandstanding on the NSA

Let the maggot "testify" but he/she/it should not be allowed to "plea bargain" or be given immunity. This maggot needs to be sent to prison for committing treason against the United States.

Gertz: NSA whistleblower asks to testify; Vows to describe illegal intelligence operations... DEVELOPING... Bring it on!! And MSM, get it right: this is not a whistle blower (with far superior knowledge than the Supreme Court judges on constitutional law) this person is committing TREASON.

And, thank goodness we know about the Rocky memo....because he shows the intent to undermine the war through releasing intelligence information. There will be no whistle blower excuse in any way...the intent has been documented.

This maggot needs to be sent to prison for committing treason against the United States. Unless this person is an elected congresscritter, they have committed a felony and there is no doubt they go directly to prison, or to the firing squad in time of war. There are mechanisms for disclosing illegal activity as a whistle blower and IT AIN'T RUNNING TO THE MSM.

the senate had better not give this leaker immunity in exchange for testimony, because McCain and his gang are dumb enough to join the Dems and do exactly that. You can bet on it.

To say he is a whistleblower gives the notion the NSA is doing something wrong.
They aren't, they didn't.
Drudge is spinning.

This guy is NOT a whistle blower and drudge should not be wording that way - but its how the MSM wants to frame the argument.
This guy is a leaker who has broken the law, plain and simple. He should save the tax payers money and turn him self in.
To: Sybeck1
Who wants to bet that the leaker is a Clinton administration appointee?

if Gertz knows he has "asked to testify" - then the FBI surely knows who he is already. why shouldn't he simply be arrested tomorrow if that is the case?

The JD won't do a darn thing. Mark my words. This whole thing is a win win for the RATS and no Republicans have the ba@@ to do anything. The Republican Party is in disarray.

Unless this person is an elected congresscritter, they have committed a felony ... Congress isn't carved out of criminal law, except for what is said on the floor of Congress.
