Current official in what universe? He's retired.
Here is the link. Nope my name really is John. Live in a suburb of Minneapolis and am too much of a political junky to follow sports too. :-)

Oh yes, I agree completely. My POINT is this IS being used in a propaganda guilt by association fashion by the Democrats. Democrats who are ON the list. That fact needs to be kept in mind as this unfolds.
What's the general threshold over which a corrupt politician is likely to perform quid-pro-quo favors, i.e., bribes? I say $10,000.
Surely you are not addressing me.
I THINK THIS IS AN EXCELLENT, VALUABLE LIST.
I find your lack of sourcing and links puzzling, since such documentation is standard at FR. I was eventually able to track down the info myself, as I noted.
I found it:
One source is the National Republican Sen Commit which has links to how they came up with the numbers:
http://www.nrsc.org/newsdesk/document.aspx?ID=1362
The other is the capital eye that has a different set of numbers:
http://www.capitaleye.org/abramoff_recips.asp
I have a sorted R/D/I excel spreadsheet if someone can post it.
Freepmail me
Since the Failed Media is spiking the Democrat Party's part in the story, thought it should be posted.
Would that be a bad thing?
wondering if any MSM was going to mention any of the Dem's involved in this mess.
Is there a difference to you between taking it right from him, or taking it from the tribes?

Two-PAC Pelosi doesn't need the money, she's automatically re-elected and sends her money to other 'Rats via her two PACs.
Doesn't explain why the Democrat Party's part in this "Scandal" is deliberately being spiked by the self proclaimed "People's Watch Dogs" in the Failed Media?
bttt
"This is a list of Elected Political officals, Ralph Reed is NOT an elected offical"
Understand that the first I heard of this Abramhoff scandal was some sort of casino-money-laundering deal involving Ralph Reed (who, I believe, is running for GA Lt. Gov.).
I don't really care about media bias here. I just want those on either side of the aisle to be persecuted fully to the law, be they Dems or Reps. Illegal = Illegal. No partisan crap necessary.
I agree with you.
I do not have any opinon about the system.. Want to change the system, change the system. Want to claim that the system "proves" a "Culture of corruption" on one side while ignoring the other sides willing participation in the same "Culture of Corruption" then YES, I do have a problem with that. I have a REAL problem with people who claim to be "The People's Watch Dogs" activly manipulating data and selectively reporting facts for partisan political reasons. They demand access to every aspect of life because they are "the peoples watch dog" yet continaully fail to fill THEIR responsiblitys. The REAL "CULTURE OF CORRUPTION" is the willingness of the Dinasour Media to act as the Democrat Party's Propaganda Whores.
HUH?
Here, once again, s-l-o-w-l-y: I love the list. I LOVE THE LIST. I have noted its value in every post. Good work. Excellent idea. I totally agree with you that the media will run the Republican names, and that running just the Dem names is a terrific idea. I think the concept is brilliant, a stroke of genius.
I and others were simply looking for links.
Do you always have trouble reading?
