On January 4, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. (PST) the Rose Bowl Game will host the BCS National Championship, between USC and Texas once again showcasing the best of collegiate football in "The Granddaddy of Them All."® The Rose Bowl will be broadcast exclusively on ABC and on ESPN radio.
Aggies basically suck as players and people. Luv Ya Horns!
Thanks, Jeff. I enjoyed your link and think its pitiful that those Ags hate Texas so much they'd root for USC. We rooted for every Big 12 team that played in a bowl and can't imagine anyone doing otherwise. Shame on them...
Notre Dame, may or may not be over ranked, but the BEAT USC except for a one-in-million bounce fumble...had that fumble stayed in bounds, USC would most likely NOT have played for the title this year.
HUH?
at (23) Pittsburgh W 42-21
at (3) Michigan W 17-10
at (22) Purdue W 49-28
home(1) USC L 31-34 Barely
Tennessee W 41-21
The season is over, going into next season you dont think ND should be ranked in the top 10? Why should USC be stay at #2 when they are losing Lienart, Bush, LinDale White, Offensive line?
Thank you ntnychik! Truthfully, the base of the tower is very large but it was all 'black' in the photo so I just cut it straight down and planted it in the field with Bevo!
Lets hope that the NFL post season games give us what the BCS games did. Probably not likely!
It depends - is Bready Quinn coming back and more importantly is AJ Hawk still going to be dating Quinn's sister.
Did anyone else get tired of Musburger going on and on about Quinn's sister?
I got sick of their harping that Quinn:
... has the best arm in College
... is the smartest player in college
... is already playing at the next level
... is the best at handling pressure
In their mind he was shorted the Hiesman this year and the voting is already over for next year. He's it. Good thing in the game he proved he is not everything listed above. But that will not change the hype.
I believe Quinn will come back, his stock will rise by staying. He would get drafted if he came out this year... But not sure where... If he stays and stays healthy he will be a top 10.
No fruit sucks like the big orange!
With that said, the horns played one helluva game last night!
I hope Tampa and NY Giants win! Chicago whips Tampa again and NY gets revenge on Seattle! Then NY Vs. Chicago at Soldier field! :D
Houston's Tiny Tower
ND hadn't faced a defense NEARLY as talented as the one they faced in Ohio State's defense.
Quinn did ok, but clearly ND was outclassed in just about every way.
And fatarse Charlie STILL hasn't admitted that OSU was the better team. He probably still thinks the best defense he faced all year was Tennessee.
Who is tougher Quinn or Lienart? :D LOL!
The Rose Bowl isn't over yet?
ND played like crap. Im not giving Ohio to much credit either. Ohio won, they were obviously better that day.
Here is a ESPN's first shot at the 2006 Top-25.
