On January 4, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. (PST) the Rose Bowl Game will host the BCS National Championship, between USC and Texas once again showcasing the best of collegiate football in "The Granddaddy of Them All."® The Rose Bowl will be broadcast exclusively on ABC and on ESPN radio.
Reminded me of the WVU - UGA game the other night. UGA looked played like the better TEAM most of the evening. But WV still won. Same thing tonight. USC looked like a more complete, better team yet Texas won. Oh well. They'll never pay my bills.

I must admit that a few of you Texas fans sound just like liberals criticizing Bush. This was a great game.....it gave us a new national champion. I loved it! But, even being a local, I never heard any of the talk that you are targeting.
It was just a fabulous game tonight. I only hope the NFL playoffs can provide the same suspense as these Bowl Games.
Nope, Pete Carroll. Had Carroll opted to punt on 4th and 2 at the Texas 43, they would have won. BAAAAD CALL! Vince only needed to go 50 yards, and he only left 19 seconds. Had he gone from his own 10, he would have run out of time.
I haven't been able to post...babysitting...but, dang...what a game...
Also, points off for Lienhart - he just sayed "I still think we're the better football team, they just did better on the field tonight" (the second half of that quote is by memory....)
