Jan Crouch, TBN's vice president for programming dumped him. Isn't Jan the televangelist with the make-up and purple hair?

TBN has stations around the world and figures the Islamic community will target them sooner rather than later if people speak up regarding radical Islam on these satellite stations around the world.

The owners of TBN are protecting their ASSets and sources of wealth to their church and families.

TBN has gone from sincere to hokey at times.

Remember when they used to claim there was evil messages in playing rock music backwards?
Then people played Paul and Jan backward and found equally evil messages when played backwards.

Then Benny and the comb over appears to be the most phony healer I've ever seen, but he gets the desperate to throw their money at him and TBN.

Then their was a doomsdayer who said the world would end on a date it didn't and so on.

They are pretty ignorant, but some at TBN (mostly volunteers who pray with people calling in) mean well.

On the other hand, Casoria told WND he believes the extremists are not Muslims at all but have "hijacked the religion."

That's TBN's General Counsel defending Islam. Sheesh.

TBN will most definitely be judged for it heresy, as will all the charlatan "ministers" who preach a false Gospel in the name of "Church Growth".

It's televangelists like those on TBN that give Christians and Conservatives a bad name. Good riddance!

So, is Hal still on his third wife, or has he moved on to the 4th by now? Who is ghost-writing for him now? Why anyone takes this guy seriously anymore is more of a mystery than any obscure passage from the Apocalypse of John.

=================================

"When the New York Times surveyed all book sales for the decade of the 1970s, it found that Lindsey's had far outsold all other authors. His "Late Great Planet Earth" alone sold more than 32 million copies."

All the so-called Christians who spend their time worrying about who'se a heretic and who isn't is gonna have some 'splainin to do to the Savior when He said, "Those who aren't against us are with us." It gets old. Some people here are so filled with jealousy that SOMEONE might be getting more attention, whether it is Willow Creek or TBN or Benny Hinn (fill in the blank, anyone except "my church/my denomination"), that the Lord is gonna whup you upside the haid. In love.

I disagree. That's the same attitude the disciples had when they came to Jesus and said, "THESE GUYS weren't with us. THEY can't be real" and Jesus told them to chill, saying those who weren't "against us are with us." The disciples thought only THEY could control Jesus's message, but it got out often in spite of them.

Even Gamaliel, the priest of the Sanhedrin, knew better, saying to leave alone all the Christian groups, because if God was not behind them, they wouldn't grow (TBN has grown like crazy), but if God WAS behind them, did you really want to oppose God?

Hal Lindsey performed a great service by pointing out that there were important prophecies fulfilled in the 20th century. He got in trouble when he insisted on having Jesus return in his lifetime, and distorting scripture to "make it happen." His sales are based on the former, not the latter.

But before people cast stones, either against him OR the Crouches, I suggest they consider that even Peter was WAY off base on mingling with Gentiles until slapped upside da haid by God.

The biggest problem with the "end times" teachers today is that each one has his agenda/approach and has SOME truth/accurate interpretation of scripture, but won't work with others to get a bigger picture.

I'm certainly not worried about anything. Those who spread a false Gospel and "scatter the flock" are the ones who should be worrying. There is nothing wrong with telling the Truth, by the way.

If you researched what these people say on TV versus what they do in real life you might understand.

I certainly am not jealous of anyone spreading a false doctrine. They will pay the price in the end. But when you know the truth and fail to warn others, you are just as guilty as they are.
