The President and first lady returned to the White House yesterday accompanied by their daughter Barbara, and of course their pets. Before leaving Texas, the President visited Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas and spent time with wounded servicemen and women, and awarded nine Purple Hearts to U.S. troops who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Today being a Federal holiday there are no scheduled events for the President so follows Snug's Review of 2005.

My oldest son was married last week; 2 weddings in 3 months. I'm pooped.
Back to school tomorrow, but my New Year's Resolution is to be able to spend more time on the Dose. That shouldn't be toooooo hard to keep! LOL
I talked to Phil earlier today and he is fine. It is not in his area, but they had a fireworks ban for New Years.
I should probably call Donna, but I know she is trying to recover from surgery.
I just woke up from a three hour nap and seem to be running a fever right now. It makes me wonder if I didn't pick up the flu along with the sinus infection.

YES! And, although the President speaks of his own faith, and he speaks of the faith of others, he does not tell anyone what they must believe. The reporter hoped to trap him so that the MSM would go wild with claims that Dubya is trying to form a government religion.
But Dubya was too smart for him.
