U.N. Seeks Interview With Syrian President
BEIRUT, Lebanon - The U.N. commission investigating the assassination of a prominent Lebanese politician has asked to interview Syria's president and foreign minister.
A spokesman for the panel said Monday that the investigators also want to interview former Syrian Vice President Abdul-Halim Khaddam "as soon as possible."
Khaddam alleged in a TV interview broadcast Friday that Assad had threatened former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri several months before he was assassinated in a Feb. 14 truck bombing.

Khaddam made the claim as he declared a formal break with President Bashar Assad in a television interview from Paris, criticizing the regime and citing corruption and its failure to reform. The UN should investigate who stole Bashar Assad's chin.
He has a neck made for hanging, don'tcha think? ;-)
Without a chin, the noose will slip off.
Yeah, now that you mention it. Stretch Assad could be a nickname and result.
Ok, so we'll smother him in honey and toss him on a giant anthill
Bashir was a dentist by trade. GOD knows the guy acts like a lawyer.
