What is it about the fate of convicted killer Stanley "Tookie" Williams that so engrossed the Hollyleft and Euroleft?
A founder of the Crips – a Los Angeles criminal gang whose record of murder, rape and robbery makes Al Capone's Cicero crowd look like the Lavender Hill Mob – Tookie was convicted in 1979 of the cold-blooded killing of four innocent people in a pair of robberies.
Albert Owens, a 26-year-old Whittier, Calif., 7-Eleven employee, was shotgunned to death. Days later, an elderly Asian couple who ran a motel, Yen-I Yang and Thsai-Shai Yang, and their 43-year-old daughter, Yee Chen Lin, all got the same treatment.
Convicted of the four murders, Tookie never repented, but protested his innocence right up to the end. He did, however, author children's books to teach black youth to avoid gangs and violence. Whether Tookie had a ghostwriter remains in dispute.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger had played no role in Tookie's death sentence, but was implored to commute it. After studying the record, however, Schwarzenegger was convinced of two facts: First, Tookie Williams was a cold-blooded killer. Second, Tookie, 25 years later, was still lying about it. No repentance, no absolution. "Without an apology and atonement for these senseless and brutal killings, there can be no redemption," said Arnold.
So, the governor refused to interrupt the execution of the law and, on Dec. 13, Tookie departed via lethal injection. His last request was that he be cremated and his ashes be spread – across South Africa.
Yet, by the time of his death, Tookie Williams had become a legend. His story was made into a cable TV movie, "Redemption," starring Jamie Foxx, and he had been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2000 for writing against gangs and violence.

What was all the interest about? The poor killer was an afro-american and I guess the libs thought he was being picked on because of his race.
Well how many deaths was he indirectly responsible for - by starting a gang? We hear all this moaning and pain from democrats on behalf of minorities, because of crime and killing, etc. Yet they go out and support the great architect of an ubiquitous street gang with thousands of members...
Why is it that Republicans are patriots, and Democrats are traitors?
Why is it that Republicans are pro military, and Democrats are anti military?
Why are Republicans pro choice, and Democrats pro abortion?
Why are Democrats anti-gun, and Republicans pro gun?
I guess that my basic point here is that I have never seen this country so divided, and so infested with enemies of society, that spout venom about our military should shoot their leaders, and that the people that died on 9/11 "deserved' it, I just wonder how long we have before CWII begins.

A 76-year-old white man convicted of three killings is nearing execution and the Hollyweird Left is unmoved. Arnie will not commute him after denying Tookie.

Well, the moronic fools of Graz might as well name the Stadium after St. Tookie the Crookie while they can. Maybe instead of tailgate parties they can have impromptu Car-B-Qs. Not to worry though, the stadium will be re-named before too long in to something more appropriate like the "Osama's Ampitheater for the beheading of moronic Infidels too stupid to draw breath"

Democrats have never been in the position where they do not have the presidency, either house of congress, are a minority in governorships, and a minority in the state legislatures and where a majority of the people are republicans.
They know the rules are rigged so it is very difficult to be a minority and become a majority. They should know because they wrote the rules.
In short, the situation is hopeless for them unless the USA fails as a country and fails in Iraq. This is why they are traitors.
If the US does well at home and abroad, the dems will be in the minority for as long as most of us will be alive.
Quite a bit of what you say is true, for now, But how can it last, since the traitors own the MSM media, and all the schools thru college?
