Who's Going To CPAC ?
CPAC ^ | 01/01/06 | RonPaulLives

I apologize in advance if this is a "vanity" thread; I have started fewer than a handful of threads in my several years here, but I couldn't find an existing thread on the CPAC conference next month. At this time last year, there were several threads about last year's conference. If there is a thread already, then please direct me to it. Even the CPAC website still says that "The agenda for CPAC 2006 will be posted in December."

Who is going to CPAC this year? Beyond those listed as "invited" speakers, is anyone confirmed for this year? What freepers are going? Where are the good deals? Inquiring minds want to know, or at least this one. Thanks.

Howdy folks --

I've been an off-and-on FreeRepublic reader for years, but this is my first post. I'm going to CPAC and have a room reserved at the Omni -- is anybody looking to share a room and split costs?

Greetings to my fellow Texans on this thread.

Welcome to FR (posting) and welcome to CPAC. You should have a great time.

My best advice is to keep this thread bumped.

Are you a smoker? A snorer?

Being as you are new, the more people know about you the better the chances of finding a roomie. Maybe. LOL

Good luck.

Thanks for the welcome!

I'm a grad student at Texas A&M University. Not a smoker ('cept for a cigar from time to time). I'll be in D.C. from Tuesday through Sunday -- I'm attending a conference for speechwriters before CPAC.

My email is conservative@tamu.edu.

I'll be there. College is paying for it.

Problem is I have exams on Thursday.

Question to anyone here:

Does CPAC have a dress code of any sort?
