Any economist who looks at the US economic record under Bush and says "Things are bad right now, but higher taxes will fix it" is not a real economist. Such a person is just a weak-minded, lying Marxist. Hello Paul Krugman.

That was a softball.

It shows how far gone the left is, and how utterly devoid of ideas or anything with merit, that simply asking a sitting economics professor for his public policy recommendations is considered a hard question.

If he is a liberal.

Look, Krugman is simply a know-nothing leftist who revels in class warfare.
He is like many of my lefty friends who refuse to acknowledge that lower taxes stimulate economies and benefit all.
They are all obsessed with skewering the golden goose.

I can't remember Krugman being right about anything.

Proof of an axiom my old college finance professor used to quote:

"Anyone can sit on the sidelines and criticize. Let's see them come up with a better solution."

Now, I'm not a large woman, just a bit over 5 feet tall. But I really do believe I could whup Krugman's butt.

I love telling my Father-in-Law, who believes every word out that ferret-faced idiot, that I'd bet that within 5 minutes I could Krugman crying like a little girl!!

Marty Feldman as Eyegore in Young FrankensteinPaul Krugman as The Thing in The Thing from the Black LagoonBela Lugosi as Dracula in Dracula

Seriously, ol' Tavis could eat Juan Williams for lunch.

As an older local woman put it, "Tavis be makin' some cash now. He habbin' to pay da man now ev'ry quah-tur."

I say "Tavis be seein' da man take some fairly serious coin off his a-- fo' a boy 'dat come up kinda rough, and he be lookin' roun' an not likin' da stuff he be feelin' like he be gettin' fo' he money!"

Anyone else needing help with their Ebonics should move to south Georgia immediately. Expect drastic improvement in a couple of years.

As a parting shot, I have this; Mr. Smiley, a lot of us have been in shoes about like yours. When we were in your current condition, we looked around and didn't like what we saw we were getting for our tax dollars. This is a large part of why many of our kids don't go to public school and why we call ourselves conservative and vote GOP.

The parting, parting shot is for us FR'ers. It wasn't THAT long ago that no difference was noted between "conservative" and "GOP". Help reign in the spending. Send some civil servants home to the private sector.
