General Theme: He's singing about how much he likes to hear the cowbell in songs.

This is so funny. One of my sons bought a cowbell today. Even he doesn't know why. He was wondering if any singers ever used one in their recordings. At midnight he went out in the frontyard and rang it.

Good morning, and Happy New Year.

Cowbells were standard issue at my college (North Carolina State University). This made some sense, as it was founded as an agricultural and engineering school.

"Get your bell, and raise H*ll" was the directive for all sporting events. There's nothing like several thousand students screaming and ringing cowbells to really rattle a place kicker or a guy standing on the free-throw line.

Thank you, happy new year. Surprisingly, those are the only fireworks I saw! LOL!! We got a new black lab puppy yesterday and the kids are just beside themselves. Her name is Gretel and she is a sweetie!!! Evan named her from Hansel and Gretel.
