My daughter loves college and her major is business information management. She may change to computer programming. She had the highest grade in the entire class this semester.
She hates accounting, but has finished all her accounting requirements for her degree.
ROFL -- I hate accounting too and that's what I do. Tell her this: I am a CompSci major turned MassComm major. I ended up working in our family business as the bookkeeper. My opinion about accounting: it's much simpler than they make it -- they have to make it complicated so they can be paid to do it! Ugh!! LOL I had the hardest time remembering when the accountant said "credit the checking account" she was REALLY telling me to take money out! LOL!! I took an correspondence bookkeeping course and have been considering taking accounting classes just so I'm certified, although at this stage I actually understand it all just fine! LOL

Our neighbor two doors down was a professional accountant for years, but stayed home to raise their three kids. She is thinking about returning to the workforce, now that all three are in college. She has been a big help to our girl in the accounting classes.
