Posted on 12/30/2005 11:21:29 AM PST by Jay777

The probe is the latest in a series of controversial investigations into leaks of classified information during the Bush administration, including the disclosure of a CIA agent's identity that has resulted in criminal charges against former vice presidential adviser I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby.

The Justice Department has also opened a probe into whether classified information was illegally disclosed to The Washington Post, which reported on a network of secret CIA prisons in Eastern Europe and elsewhere.

Yes--when the MSM's hide is being investigated, it is. Amazing, isn't it?

The MSM never reports that Libby was the highest-ranking Democrat in the Bush administration.

Biased keyword aside, "controversy" is perfect for me because people pay attention to such things. Nobody cared about Valerie Lame but it set precedent that is going to haunt the hell out of the Old Media.
I can't wait to see the many other examples of bias and blatant partisanship come shining through. Newspaper sales will continue to plummet as MSLSD and the Clinton News Network go bankrupt when Fox gobbles up the rest of the cable market share remaining.
The timing, subject matter, and possible ramifications are nothing but good news for America and hence bad for the dems. It's a GREAT late Christmas present.

For once I would like to see a conviction and prison time for the parties involved. Probably won't happen.

It most absolutely is not. This news states that the Washington Post is investigated too. This is the second posting of this news, because the first time I posted it, it was pulled for the wrong title.

Am I the only one who feels very strongly that the media is committing treason against this country, all in the name of trying to bring President Bush down? I really hope we see these media clowns in court and tried for this, as well as those traitors who leaked this to them.
