the President IDed the "Axis of Evil". Two of the three still stand .... US History is pretty clears about who decides what is an unreasonable search ... the Courts ... and no I'm not taking my ball home Shoot....you Dems couldn't handle letting the Prez take down ONE of the Axis of Evil much less all three...Bush is being SKEWEERED for invading Iraq...imagine if we had invaded all three...and you claim to be a military historian of sorts...but you show no abject military philosophy i.e. we went thru North Africa and France to get to Germany...and if this goes to the SCOTUS....you owe me a mea culpa...cause you know they will side with Bush...and then you can take your ball and go back to DU...lol

We need to make sure, that between now and when Congress comes back in January...that we all e-mail and even snail mail to our Congresscritters DEMANDING a full disclosure investigationConsider it done. I've been on this since that idiot wrote the story, and I found out about his book deal.

Man you know you're over the target when the ACLU responds within hours to your investigation.
Taking fire from the ACLU is a badge of honor.

"I was just over on another site they said Daily Kos is melting down.."
Consider the following scenario:
2006 STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS
"...My felow Americans, we have indeed made great progress on the War on Terror. With their recent elections on December 15, The iraqi people have sent a clear message to the terrorists and tyrants of this world. They desire freedom, and democracy is now beginning to flourish in Iraq. Terrorists are on the run, and every day more and more Iraqis are being trained to pursue them entirely on their own. The day when Iraqis will be able to stand on their own is in sight.
(applause)
Unfortunately, there are those in this country who either do not understand the need to fight terrorism where it exists or have forgotten the lessons of September the 11th. A few misguided inviduals have taken steps to damage our nation's efforts. As many of you are aware, there have been recent leaks to the media, involving the efforts of many dedicated individuals toward rooting out terorrists and preventing further attacks. Terrorists depend on their ability to enter our country in secret and carry out their actions beneath our notice. Leaking of our methods toward apprehending them alerts the terrorists and places all Americans in greater danger. This must not be allowed to stand. As many of you are also aware, our Department of Justice has been conducting investigations into those who are placing our citizens in greater danger. I have been notified that indictments will be goung out tomorrow. It is my tragic duty to say that some of them will be going to individuals in this sacred chamber."
They won't melt down. They'll go Chernobyl.

Whenever I have seen Stephen Hayes of Weekley Standard interviewed...he always shakes his head, and wonders why the Bush Administration does not tell all of the stuff that he, Hayes, knows they have...
Maybe we know now...they were keeping their powder dry until the right time to "dump it"...hopefully, Hayes is getting the real story now.

Sheesh...a lot of CYA going on in that article...and I love how they find these groups that think that the President's policies are more damaging..than the fact the employees of the government with clearance to see classified information, are talking to reporters..

I KNEW someone was going to describe the leakers as "whistleblowers" the minute I heard this. It took a week but the ACLU didn't let me down. They made a statement to that effect today, 12/30/2005.
