True, but remember that the NYT held off on publishing at the request of the admin... So they've surely been checking into this since at least that long ago too.

Take a look at this: Sounds like Robertson was one of the leakers after all.

Turns out the NY Times is not the only paper to have its leakers sources investigated. The Washington Post is reporting their CIA Prison story leaks are being investigated.

The Justice Department has also opened a probe into whether classified information was illegally disclosed to The Washington Post, which reported on a network of secret CIA prisons in Eastern Europe and elsewhere.

I am being told in private by someone with sources that there are multiple targets, Flopping Aces is right that the targets are known since the investigation is well along, and the Robertson resignation is linked. Now if all of this comes true I will be a very happy person!

The person who passed this along is free to brag if they want, and I will give credit where credit is due. http://stoptheaclu.com/archives/2005/12/30/justice-department-opens-nsa-leak-probe/

You're assuming nobody has the potential to get executed for this if that's the way the law stands.

We are at war and these people have repeatedly compromised the effort. Just because the media and the democrats haven't taken this seriously doesn't mean the DOJ won't.

This ain't Vietnam.

You are not realistic, you just being very pessimistic and afraid of the defeated liberal media. There is a very thin line between being realistic and being pessimistic. If the defeated liberal media is as powerful at you portray them to be then no Republican should ever win the White House or a Republican should ever take control of Congress. Since we have more Republicans winning the White House than Democrats seven out of last ten Presidential elections were won by Republicans and since the Congress has been controlled by the GOP since 1994, then you theory about the almighty defeated liberal media is nothing but a knee jerk reaction.

...and truth eventually squashes them.
Nope, not nearly often enough, Pollyanna.

I would go so far as to say rarely. Truth and news may accidentally pass each other in the halls from time to time, but they seldom actually meet.

OK, so what exactly is Frog marched?

This is also what Blowhard Joe said about Karl Rove a couple of summers ago . Created lots of excitement among usual MSM suspects.

“It's of keen interest to me to see whether or not we can get Karl Rove frog-marched out of the White House in handcuffs.”

U.S. District Judge James Robertson, one of 11 members of the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, sent a letter to Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. late Monday notifying him of his resignation without providing an explanation.

The MSM said he resigned in protest but I think there is more to the story. Should get interesting.

Whoever leaked isn't with the press.

Yes. Probably Rockefeller and that Clinton hack who was on the FISA court...Rockefellers don't go to jail...Clinton cronies do. However, the First Amendment shouldn't be construed to protect traitors in the press.

A constitutional lawyer was just on Fox News. He said regardless of being a whisle-blowere who ever revealed the information to the NYT should be very afraid because they could be serving a very long time in prison.

Said that a whisleblower statue does not supersede the documents he had to sign to see the top secret information.

Something tells me the name Richard A. Clarke will become significant in this investigation.
