Leahy wants to know about Pentagon spying on protests

COLCHESTER, Vt. --Sen. Patrick Leahy wants the Defense Department to give him the details about two Vermont anti-war protests that were monitored by government officials.

Leahy, a Democrat, said Vermont had a long tradition of peaceful political protest.

"Besides, I told the Department of Defense, if they really want to hear Vermonters speak out against the war, they don't have to send a camera crew to snoop around Vermont, just turn on C-SPAN," Leahy said. "I do it on the Senate floor all the time."

1. It never occurred to you to be offended by the phrase, "One nation, under God."

2. You've never protested about seeing the 10 Commandments posted in public places.

3. You still say "Christmas" instead of "Winter Festival".

4. You remove your hat and bow your head when anyone prays.

5. You stand and place your hand over your heart when they play our National Anthem.

6. You treat Viet Nam vets with great respect, and always have.

7. You've never burned an American flag, but would kick someone's BUTT that did.

He didn't waste a moment's thought of even the slightest possibility that it might have been to uncover participants' ties with enemies of the U. S.

That's why no one is watching. It's hard enough to see idiots protest but to watch Senators who are supposed to be trying to protect the UNITED STATES CITIZENS, act just like anti-war protestors on the SENATE FLOOR, while MEN AND WOMEN ARE RISKING THEIR LIVES, makes my blood boil.

I'm sure he thinks that remark is "cute" (and it probably is to MSM & people inside the beltway) but it isn't "cute" to me! I can't help but think of the 3,000 people (and their families and friends) who died on 9/11, like the ones who JUMPED TO THEIR DEATHS, when idiots like him make their "cute" remarks.

I would pay thousands of dollars just for the chance to slap people like him in the face just once! Let's see how "cute" he really is with a hand mark on the side of his ugly *ss face. SPIT!
