It is a shame that we have a whole generation of young conservatives and liberals who remain unaware of the truth regarding Kwanza. Political correctness run amok. God help us.

(was kkdding on that last post; am pointing out Ann is recycling titles for some reason)
On a related note, a letter to the editor in the local paper today could be summarized as follows: "I am too stoopid to understand Ann Coulter, so I hate her."
Frightening.
On the first day of Kwanzaa Karenga gave to me
A Marxist in a red tree.
On the second day of Kwanzaa Karenga gave to me
Two Jaily birds,
And a Marxist in a red tree.
On the third day of Kwanzaa Karenga gave to me
Three Dixie Chicks.
Two Jaily birds,
And a Marxist in a red tree.
On the fourth day of Kwanzaa Karenga gave to me
Four Lenin busts.
Three Dixie Chicks,
Two Jaily birds,
And a Marxist in a red tree.
On the fifth day of Kwanzaa Karenga gave to me
Five fel-on-ies.
Four Lenin busts,
Three Dixie Chicks,
Two Jaily birds,
And a Marxist in a red tree.
On the sixth day of Kwanzaa Karenga gave to me
Six Castro jumpsuits.
Five fel-on-ies,
Four Lenin busts,
Three Dixie Chicks,
Two Jaily birds,
And a Marxist in a red tree.
On the seventh day of Kwanzaa Karenga gave to me
Seven Mao pajamas,
Six Castro jumpsuits,
Five fel-on-ies,
Four Lenin busts
Three Dixie Chicks,
Two Jaily birds,
And a Marxist in a red tree.
'NUFF SAID!
And that's putting aside the question of the academic validity of a Black Studies Department in the first place....
All the same it's still very appropriate for Bush's latest D.U.M. move.
I agree with everything Ann says here. I am very disappointed that our President would lend an aura of respectability to this bogus racist concoction of Kwanzaa.
It's like when the Pope kissed the Koran.
I too agree.
Self ping
Unfortunately, Bush makes himself appear to be not a "nice guy" but another PC moron. One would like to think that someone (anyone!) who wrote his absurd soundbites would at least know what they're talking about before they allow him to parrot their script. It appears his handlers may be equally ignorant -- or think we are! He's also launched other PC inanities about Islam and the Islamofascists that are not just incorrect but embarrassing to hear.
Could one say that this person is the true meaning of a "Chicken F___er!"
A movement that started approximately 2,000 years before Kwanzaa leaps well beyond merely "unity" and "faith" to proclaim that we are all equal before God. "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28). It was practitioners of that faith who were at the forefront of the abolitionist and civil-rights movements.
How can Catholics read that quote and not allow women to be priests?
First it was "Islam is a religion of Peace" nuttiness and now this Kwanzaa Krappola.
George is either receiving idiotic advise or is a clueless idiot himself.
Either way it's not the reason I voted for him.
