(Resident tells cops: 'It's very disturbing')
A white supremacy publication is stirring concern in the west side neighborhood where copies have been appearing in driveways.
"It's very disturbing," said one resident who did not want her name used because she said she fears retaliation. She discovered an issue of the 16-page tabloid Aryan Alternative on Monday in the driveway of the Langlois Street house where she lives with her husband in the Glen Oak Hills neighborhood.
She described the paper as racist and anti-Jewish.
The Aryan Alternative, published in Kirksville, Mo., has a circulation of 70,000 nationwide, director of distribution Glenn Miller said Tuesday. Many copies are delivered unsolicited or handed out on street corners, he said.
"I pass them out wherever we go to white people," Miller said. "We're trying to wake up white people."
The publisher of the paper is Alex Linder, founder of the Vanguard News Network who, according to the Anti-Defamation League, split with the neo-Nazi National Alliance to found the White Freedom Party. Copies of the newspaper wrapped in plastic shopping bags were visible in two driveways on Merrill Crest Drive on Tuesday.
Madison police spokesman Carlos Valentin said that as of Tuesday two complaints about the newspapers had been received from residents of the Glen Oak Hills neighborhood.
But distributing offensive literature is not a crime, he said.
"If they are not making specific threats, it's hard to prove the literature is doing any harm," Valentin said. "If people don't like where it's coming from, they can dump it in the trash."
Steve Braunginn, a longtime local civil rights activist and resident of the neighborhood, says that's not enough.
He's encouraging Ald. Noel Radomski to speak on the issue at the next meeting of the City Council.
"Let's have Madison stand up straight and tall and declare in one unified voice: Get out, you're not welcome here."
Radomski was not available for comment Tuesday.
It's a newspaper. The printed word of demented scum. The people of Madison, like all Americans, are the decendents of people who struggled to survive a sea or land journey to get here and unbelievable travail to survive here. Their decendents should be strong enough to get a 16-page newspaper from the drive way to the garbage can.

National Alliance/Vanguard News is worthy of condemnation. Though I don't like their political positions, I haven't seen the NAACP, PUSH, or Rainbow take positions of racial superiority or exclusivity.

Louis Farrakhan continues to blame "white devils" and "Jews" for the problems in this world.

Every year, this happens somewhere several times. Some new creep signs up with Vanguard/National Alliance, gets all fired up about their bogus issues, then takes it upon himself to order and distribute their garbage.
It's your neighbor. You know the one. You never see him outdoors much. He yells at the kids in the neighborhood if their ball gets in his yard. He hates pretty much everyone.

Depends on your definition. The Nazis used "Aryan" to refer to the Indo-European "race," which is really a linguistic group, and sometimes more precisely and even less logically to the "Germanic" race, whatever that means. Many ethnologists and linguists limit the term to the Indian group that went east from somewhere around the Black Sea, while most of the group went west and south into Europe.
There is quite a bit of evidence that the original "Aryan" invaders of India were quite "white," with a lot of blondes and redheads among them. They were apparently much like the original Hellenes and Italics. It is likely that the darker complexion of most of the speakers of these languages today is due to intermarriage for thousands of years with the original "Dravidian" inhabitants, who were apparently very dark-skinned.
The caste system of India appears to have developed originally at least partly in an attempt to maintain the "ethnic purity" of the upper "white" castes. Obviously it failed.
As I noted, I haven't seen NAACP, PUSH and the Rainbow Coalition push the Jews are the downfall of the black race nonsense. I suppose it's possible they agree that Jews are simply the bane of the white race. IMO Sharpton deserved jail for Crown Heights, he and particularly Farrakhan are certainly equivalent to NatVan or Duke.

Call 'em. Call the Circulation Department and insist that they send someone to pick up the "litter" they threw on your property. Tell them not to do it again, and that if they don't remove the litter you will call the police.
Someone will be by shortly to pick up the paper. I've done it many times. They always come.

So what? Actually, there have been a few. A black guy got dragged to death behind a truck not that long ago. You may remember the case.
In any case, racism sucks, whatever the source. Have you seen this particular publication? They have an entire page dedicated to supporting Muslims and their jihad against Jews. Check it out. You can find it on the web. I'd link to it, but FR forbids links to this vile organization.

It works, too. In most places, your property line is not the end of your driveway. There's almost always city property, to the inside edge of the sidewalk. If their noxious paper is on city property, it's littering, for sure, and there are nice fines.
Get these scumbags, I say. Shine the light of day on them. Make them own up to their racism. That way, their neighbors will know who they are.

NOI and the antifascists don't get tax money (as a group, anyway. Many probably do personally through welfare). I was responding to the question of why the more well-known black front groups are able to get tax subsidies while the white groups generally don't. NAACP and PUSH/Rainbow don't have a rep for actively promoting riots or violence against non-blacks. There are probably more violent anti-white groups than there are white supremacist groups, but as acknowledged later in my post, most don't get much (honest) coverage for various PC reasons (ditto Sharpton and Jackson's views on "whitey").
