Oh yeah, it is a thrill kill committed by a sick bastard who thinks he will get away with it by using that honor killing crap.
What pisses me off is that he probably WILL get away with it. He'll get the minimum of 10 years, maybe 15, and retain his precious "honor." While 4 girls remain dead.
He needs to not only die, but die dishonorably. Perhaps drowned in a vat of pig's blood. The death penalty alone is never an effective deterrant - especially in a culture that values human life so little. Leaving these scum even more "dishonored" on their way out may make some of them think twice - provided they are even capable of thought.
