Move America Forward Ads Aim to Lift Bush's Approval Rating by Backing WMD Claims
WASHINGTON -- The television commercials are attention-grabbing: Newly found Iraqi documents show that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction, including anthrax and mustard gas, and had "extensive ties" to al Qaeda. The discoveries are being covered up by those "willing to undermine support for the war on terrorism to selfishly advance their shameless political ambitions."
The hard-hitting spots are part of a recent public-relations barrage aimed at reversing a decline in public support for President Bush's handling of Iraq. But these advertisements aren't paid for by the Republican National Committee or other established White House allies. Instead, they are sponsored by Move America Forward, a media-savvy outside advocacy group that has become one of the loudest -- and most controversial -- voices in the Iraq debate.
While even Mr. Bush now publicly acknowledges the mistakes his administration made in judging the threat posed by Mr. Hussein, the organization is taking to the airwaves to insist that the White House was right all along.

Awright!
Oh, this makes me SO happy to read this!
I've been puzzled and disappointed the administration did not talk about the connections between AQ and Iraq. The MSM wrote dozens of articles in the 90's about the relationship but the minute Bush mentioned it, the left started to have amnesia. (And prayed we did too!)
This link cites all the Iraq/AQ and Saddam/OBL connections that I could find:

That's better. I'm getting a bit tired of being called pro war just because I support the mission and don't follow along with the anti-American peace crowd. None of us with skin in the game like war but we realize that it does happen.
Same here. If we have to go to war, then by golly, watch out. But none of us likes it. It just has to be done.
That was my 1st thought.
Pro War?
How about
Pro-Freedom
Pro-defense
Pro-Democracy
Pro-terrorist removal
Bout time.
Just last night in my home town, two soldiers we're apparently refused service and told to leave a local gas station. The recruiting office also burned.

You need to make a big fuss about this.
Hey, it's the WSJ. Give 'em a break.
It's about time a pro-American group is coming forward to support this war on terrorism by supporting the president. We now need to support Move America Forward with donations.
"How about
Pro-Freedom

Agreed! I am not Pro-war. No sane person is.
The terrorists are pro-war, and that means hard decisions to be made by the defenders of peace.
The left is not "anti-war" either. There are a dozen things they are, and "anti-war" aint one of em.
And man do they freak when you point it out. Lotsa fun!
Dude, we need links to those stories pronto.
It's Yochi Dreazen
bump
PING
It's about time the right started doing what the left has been doing so effectively for years. I'm sick of seeing Moveon.org ads on TV, while conservatives whine that President Bush isn't showing any "backbone or whatever. We don't even credit him his own achievements. Somebody here ALWAYS attributes a smart move to Rove instead of Bush. If WE don't support him, why should we be surprised when his approval rating goes down?
