QUOTE OF THE DAY: THE PREIDENT FROM SATURDAYS RADIO ADDRESS "At Christmas, we give thanks for the gift of the birth of Christ, and for the blessings that surround us every day of the year. In this great and prosperous land, we have so much to be thankful for, and Christmas reminds us of our obligation to share these blessings with others. There are many among us who are hurting and require a helping hand. In the new year, I hope Americans will look for ways to volunteer your time and talents where they are needed most. By reaching out to a neighbor in need, we make our nation a more just and compassionate place. "

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAREN HUGHES!!!!!

Nice thread. Are these posted every day? While I don't always agree with his domestic agenda, President Bush is an honorable man and his handling of the War on Terror and International relations has been stellar. The constant, partisan, near treasonous attacks on our President from the so-called "news" media and the left is unprecedented and sickening. In the face of their palpable hatred, the President is firm in his convictions and always gracious to his critics. A true leader.
In before the zot!

Hello all...
#;-)
Thank you for that lovely shot of Mom and Pop and the 'kids'.
Until just now, I didn't know the President and First Lady were at the Ranch today and yesterday. I suspected as much, from the sound of jet fighters in the area. I can always tell when the President is "in residence" from the fighters deployed to protect him. However, since I'm on vacation and didn't get to go by where they are usually parked, I haven't had the oportunity to see them, but I have heard them in the area.
