He was great, all things considered, after his surgery last week. That was why no visitors last were allowed last week. He was in ICU.
Cards were everywhere!! He definitely knows that people love and appreciate him.

The book about Teddy Roosevelt is about the former president's African safari and his attempt to re-enter politics... *snort* I'm sure that will get the Dem conspiracy theorists's knickers in a twist.

That is wonderful Mike! I bet they loved the phone cards and ornaments. Did local children make them?
There is a couple that live near BNH that I have been talking to regarding expanding our mission. Do you think it is more difficult to visit there compared to WR?

I just have a number of issues that I need therapy for...due to ramdom acts of CatholicismHmmm. It may not have been Catholicism, but the ideas and attitudes of the teachers at your school, and others. There have been a lot of folks who learned incorrectly about Church teachings from folks with their own agendas and personal strangeness. When I became an adult, I resolved to teach MYSELF what the Church teaches. It was quite a nice revelation in many ways.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well Mike. Take care of yourself, you don't want anything to catch you, and if it does you SURE don't want it to go into your chest. I've heard there is a real nasty bug out there.

The Security at Walter Reed is tighter because of how vulnerable the building is, but BNH is more strict about who gets in the hospital. I've been to both many times, but this last visit to BNH, my brother arranged the visit and he was supposed to been added to the visitors list and was not, I have a few names of inpatients at BNH, but did not have them with me that night, so we were denied access to the building :-(
