WASHINGTON The impeachment of former President Clinton is in a gray area of history, too long ago to be a current event, too recent to be judged in perspective.
Yet history is already judging Clinton in the place where millions of students get their information about him textbooks.
Seven years after he was impeached in a scandal of sex, perjury and bitter politics, Clinton has become a fixture in major high school texts.

It was all Bush's fault!
I'll bet that the word "sex" is mentioned often in these books but the phrase "perjury committed before a Federal judge in a civil rights case that was sanctioned by a 9-0 decision of the US Supreme Court" won't be mentioned once.
Federal pejury conviction disqualified him from practicing law but wasn't enough to disqualify him from being President.
No mater how much lipstick the liberal historians put on the pig, no one can deny that he was impeached. His legacy has been established and cannot be changed.
Liberal writers writing Bubba's legacy=LIES. WHAT bubba couldn't accomplish during his term, the bastard liberal EVIL rat historians will make sure that on PAPER he'll be looked upon as the second coming of Christ who delivered the WHOLE world, including the UN!! Yet W's legacy will be written down as the most hated, evil Antichrist man EVER to take office...mark it!
The terrifying story of how an out-of-control fundamentalist Christian prosecutor delved into the personal life of the greatest president in our nation's history, thereby giving the Republican extremists in the house an opportunity to mount a coup d'etat against the Constitution by resorting to impeachment as payback for Watergate, and as a means to advance the establishment of a lawless theocracy in the United States.
I'll be "sex" isn't mentioned at all, but that the entire incident was the design of partisan Republicans trying to overturn the will of the people.
That pos former potus is still positioning himself for a stint at the UN. You'll notice that much more emphasis is being put on the superb job he did with the economy and global aids assistance.
You left out, "Resulting in the current administration, the most corrupt in American history."

Yeah, Monica's!
Amen! It doesn't hurt to send complaints to the textbook publishers either - here's the one that gave more space to Johnson's 1868 impeachment:

I wonder what history will say he actually did that was good.
I can't think of anything except signing the Republican Welfare Reform Bill but he had no choice there.
Just thought that earned repeating.
