Because you have a very influential group of Americans that believe there is no greater evil than the interruption of their income stream, and you have a very numerous group of Americans that believe we should support good guys.

If the people of that area want sharia law, then they should have it. Any country should be able to rule themselves any way they choose. However, there are consequences to actions.

So, if you want sharia law and you want to kill the hand that feeds, don't expect that hand to feed anymore! Also, if you threaten and/or harm your neighbors, expect to be repaid for your violent deeds.
