I read about some British scholar who got in trouble for calling Islam a "religion for psychopaths."
At first I thought that was rather strong. However, the more I see around me, the more I think he's right. Something about that society either breeds or attracts these hotheaded, deviant types, who, if they're not bothering women, are blowing each other up. Violence & abuse are so ingrained in their culture, that I have to speculate if they're not only misguided but evil.
My father, shortly before he died last year, wondered how women could possibly want to convert to Islam. "They must be into S&M," he said. I think he was right.
