The D Line and line backers are doing much better and the secondary has actually managed to play a few games together as a unit which also helps. The offense is still not as good as it could be and that is a combination of an O Line that is C+ at best and a QB that is not consistent. Brady has been missing throws all season. He has rolled some really bad games this year and even tonight you can see him missing throws. He's good but with some better focus he could be as good as Manning as a passer.

I am a Chargers Fan & I did enjoy our win over the Pats in there home stadium.It was great, lets see how good the Pats are against a good team.

I wonder what a Cincinnati Bengals Super Bowl ring will look like??? It will happen before Marvin Lewis retires as head coach of the Bengals. We just need a couple more high quality guys on defense.

The Pats were really bad at that point of the season. Yikes! Man they've come a long way since then.

I think you need more than just a couple. It's good to see the Bengals finally back in the post season. Their fans deserved better over the past decade and a half.

I agree with your assessment. The D is getting healthy( oh yeah! what happened tonight,LOL) and the O just needs to FOCUS- they will be good in the play offs, I am feeling better about that!

They beat the Falcons, Bucs and the Steelers this year. They lost to some good teams and rather badly with a defense that was gutted with injuries. Injuries are part of the game and the Pats never complain about them but Marty Schottenheimer said after that game that he knew that the Chargers did not beat the real Pats.

So ABC Sports has one Wild Card game then the Super Bowl this year... so Madden and Michaels have two games left then. The Super Bowl will be a great note for Al Michaels to go out on, IMHO.

Brady is just now getting his full compliment of weapons back. The offense is still trying to get a rhythm going.

True and the Patriots accept that. That's why they're going to the playoffs.

The D has given up 17 points in their last 4 games. They didn't give up much in the second half of the Chiefs game either. The secondary is their biggest weakness at this point. I hope that Law comes back next year but being the greedy bitch that he is he won't.
