[history]
China will never go down, and don't think you can banish communism. Because the people won't let it. They know they are the last standing, they are the only ones left. America is in a decline while China's climaxing, America will go down. We are just done with our prime, if anything, we were going into a depression since 1992 (and don't say you don't know that year). Communism is the American's medias' worst nightmare, because of censorship. I hope we all have to read one newspaper and wipe my butt with one brand of tiolet paper. I hope we all die for our next generations to wear the red armband. We deserved 9/11, and they enjoyed it. You probably hate me now, I know, you just still think like its 1945, well too bad its 2005. We only stand to fall.

Well, let's say that Gollum looks less Hobbit than if a man actually protrayed him without the aid of a computer, much like the other Hobbits.
I was content with him when I first saw the way his eyes reflected light in the first movie. And ALMOST, I could believe him as being an "un-computerized thing." Difficult. But "almost..."
(Remember now...I've read the four books at least once a year since 1970, so my images are definitely set in stone...)

And I wasn't even trying!
Is this the first monthly UT that did not make it to 10,000+?
I am sorry, I know I have been slacking.

No. Actually, less of them make it to 10,000 than do. After That Trouble in July last year, folks slacked off for quite a while.
I think last month was busy because of the Holidays, so maybe February's incarnation will pick up a few more...I hope.

I haven't seen "Walk the Line."
To: tuliptree76
Me either. And probably won't, since I don't do movies solo...*snort*

I won't go to a theater alone, but I will rent movies to watch by myself.
To: tuliptree76
I seldom do that...if I think they're good, or hear that they are, I'm more inclined to just buy the DVD.

Let me know how it is. If it's good, I might rent it. :-)
To: Monkey Face
I don't watch many movies more than once, so I rent them. If it's really good, I might buy it later.

I always think that they will come in handy some day, when I'm old and feeble and can't do much but eat and sleep...they will most likely seem like new releases to me...

I don't like the commercials...we have them here during the shows, you know...Besides...along with the commercials come cuts for language, nudity and violence.

Sometimes the movies that I want to see are never on TV.

Our censorship isn't strict anymore.

Here, it's mostly for the advertisers...if certain parts of the movies are cut, it means more room for commericals.
