SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Spurs guard Tony Parker was cited for impeding traffic and failing to produce a valid Texas driver's license during a traffic stop in which girlfriend and "Desperate Housewives" actress Eva Longoria was his passenger, police said.
An officer on a bicycle saw the stopped car holding up traffic early Saturday and rapped the hood with his hand, according to a police report. Parker, behind the wheel, questioned why the officer touched the car, and the couple "began screaming in a verbally abusive and demeaning manner," police said. Longoria called the police report "highly inaccurate." Police say Parker began to drive away, almost hitting a man standing nearby. After being told to stop and get out, Parker showed a French driver's license, police said. The star guard for the defending NBA champions was was born in Belgium and raised in France.
The officer who wrote the citations said Parker complained: "This is all the cops do, just mess with people," and that Longoria shouted from the car: "He's just a Mexican bike cop. He only wants your autograph."
Longoria denied making the comment.
"It's a shame that one officer conducted himself in such an inappropriate and disorderly manner," Longoria said through her publicist. "I never made any sort of racial slurs, let alone made any comments about the officer being Mexican, as a Mexican myself."

Who's a Frenchie?
Tony Parker.
Eva Longoria has looks but no class, apparently.
I couldn't care less what happens to all the arrogant, self-indulgent, self-important, narcissistic, political nit-witian, leftist, treasonous "celebrity" scum in the entire world. Unless they all drop dead of course. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
I believe the cop.
The bike patrolmen are highly sensitive to tourists' welfare and San Antonio's image.
Tony and Eva should just pay the fine and shut up.
The quip sounds just like a line from her "Desperate Housewives" character. Eva, I think its funny. If Tony had been a bit more cooperative and a bit more gracious, the cop probably would have thought it funny too.
How dare a lowly cop hassle celebrities! After all, Parker is paid millions to put a ball in a basket and Longoria is paid millions to say words other people write. How can unimportant police work compete with that?!
Celebrities should carry a sign stating their celebrity status so that beat cops and others would immediately recognise their special status and leave them alone. They deserve to be treated like Kings and Queens, They are entertainers. /s
Another Hollywood jackass. Or is that redundant?
Queens?
Dont u people know u they are!!...
There was a time I felt sort of guilty about circulating and posting all those nude photos of her all over the internet. No more. As soon as I get to work, I'm going to hit the entire list and send 'em round again. Whore.

"You know, I'm going to start thanking
the woman who cleans the restroom in
the building I work in. I'm going to start
thinking of her as a human being"
Yeah right Eva! ... The cop lied, this is what the cops like to do for a hobby - 'Stop famous people and get into name calling contests'. This happens all the time. Every single person in Hollywood has been harassed by the police, it is what the cops live for. And Hey - Tony, you da man! You bein' harassed by da man! Its your gorgeous girlfriend ... The cops are harassing you because you have a beautiful babe on your arm. They live for that too. Harassing those with beautiful girlfriends and stopping famous people to engage in name calling. Those two things. Thats what they do. Oh yeah and 'banging on car hoods'. Those three things. Harassing those with beautiful girlfriends and stopping famous people to engage in name calling and banging on car hoods. Three things ... Thats what they do!
I thought she was an American?
I don't suppose she meant it that way but who else gets away with calling an Hispanic American a "Mexican" without somebody being insulted? Is this sort of like blacks being able to call each other the N-word but nobody else is allowed?
Amen!
Doesn't sound like he is even licensed to drive in the U.S..
Me.
Reminds me of an exchange I overheard many years ago in Trinity University's Coates Student Center.
An out-of-state Anglo student was trying to be correctly sensitive in striking up a friendly political conversation with one of our commuting students.
He called Mexican's Chicanos.
The Mexican student asked, "What's a Chicano?"
The Anglo gave a blank look, and switched to Hispanic.
"What's a Hispanic?"
The Anglo switched to Latino?
"What's a Latino?"
Uncomfortable, the Anglo tried out "Mexican-American."
That didn't work so well, either.
The Anglo might have tried Tejano, but he probably had less of an idea what that was, and still would have been wrong with this particular student.
Philip, the Chicano-Hispanic-Latino-Mexican-American student, was a naturalized American citizen. His father was one of the labor organizers Castro tossed into his freshly acquired jails right after tossing out Batiste. He didn't mind being called a Cuban and was rather proud of it, zealously so, but he didn't have much use for hyphens or tags.
What's an Anglo? Around here, anybody who's not a Mexican. :-)
You know I was thinking about actors as I was watching the movie "BECAUSE OF WINN DIXIE" which was a wonderful family movie starring a beautiful 10 year old girl. She was marvelous in her role and I thought what other extraordinarily high-paying, professional job can be done just as well by a 10 year old child? Think about it. That's why whenever I hear an actor speak about his "craft" it makes me want to puke.
I am not really an I actress; I just play one on TV; I am actually a whore, who has the right pimp AGENT.
