The abortion issue is one of them, it is absolutely horrendous to allow wanton murder of innocent babies for the inconvenience of a amoral mother. That said, have you been to an orphanage lately.. There aren't many left that allow visitors, and those that do aren't very busy.. No, more of the unwanted children in our society are in foster homes, many in a far worse environment than we wish to admit.. The foster care system has become an insidious business in too many cases.. The children are treated as chattel and pass through these places with amazing frequency.. Most children that reach the age of 6 are doomed, and those that are in anyway defected with any abnormalities as minor as poor eyesight are totally overlooked.. Now imagine a drug dependent child, with a lifetime of medical problems, or a baby that has been mistreated and damaged in any way.. NOT EVEN A PRAYER IN SCHOOL OR ANYWHERE ELSE IS GOING TO SAVE THIS CHILD FROM A LIFE OF DREAD AND SADNESS..
