As I viewed this morning's "news", I noticed that the Legacy Media has manufactured a new Bush piñata just in time for Christmas: "illegal" monitoring of Muslim mosques, businesses and homes in the D.C. area for nuclear radiation.
All of us here on Free Republic know, of course, that this is merely the weekly installment of the Legacy Democrat Media's thrilling serial series Bush Sucks, Bush Lied, And Bush Is Corrupt.
Upon further reflection, though, I began to realize something. The American Left who apparently considers this radiation monitoring to be the newest outrage that they can beat the "illegal and corrupt" Bush administration with also is the same American Left who arcs out and has foaming epileptic fits if one of them discovers that a neighbor five doors down owns a legal firearm.
In fact, the Left is so concerned about legal firearm ownership that they have conducted a decades-long campaign to seize the legal firearms of hundreds of Americans. One of their favorite gambits in this campaign was to pass a law allowing "the authorities" to seize the firearms of any American who is accused of "domestic violence".
Now, it's patently evident that Muslims were not just accused, but were responsible for the "domestic violence" of September 11, 2001 (unless you're a member of the Mainstream American Left), so I wonder to myself why ANYONE would trust a Muslim on American soil (American or foreign) with a private stash of nuclear material - unless of course they were a practicing hypocrite.
Then I remembered that it's also patently evident that the American Left are practicing hypocrites.
So, to sum up, it's OK if the Muslim next door has a "private" tactical nuclear warhead, but heaven forbid that the guy across town buys a brick of .22 shells - WHAT ABOUT THE DANGER OF LEAD POISONING TO THE CHILDREN???
Yes.
In a word, yes.
But not just insane. Insane and EVIL.
Pretty soon, NYT will be broke/bankrupt too.
Yes, the Left really is insane.
As absurd and evil as the "warrantless" geiger counter stories may be, I think on this one the Press has gone "A Bridge Too Far." The average American is horrified by the idea that radiation to build a terror bomb could be leaking from anywhere, and will assume the government is testing for it. The press has been exposed as truly idiotic and left wing (same difference) on this one.
We haven't built a nuclear power plant in this country in decades, but we are going to allow terrorists to play with radiation in their garages???
That's different...
Fifth Columnists
Yep.
they say "W was snooping for RADIATION in moose covens" like it's a BAD THING!!! AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGggggggggg!!!
We need a sign with the Elian stormtrooper pic and a caption "Democrats on civil liberties"."Kay.

"Democrats on civil liberties"
I am so relieved to learn that my government has been spying on these mosques all along. I thought these muslim creeps were a 'hands off' protected lot of murderers. Thank God we have an administration with some common sense.
Several poll questions you will never see:
Do you agree that the US government should monitor ALL calls {with or without a warrant} made with an al quada operative, regardless of where the other party is located?
I'd bet its 9 to 1.
Do you agree that the US government should monitor mosques and muslims home for nuclear material {without a warrant}?
I'd bet this would be 99 to 1. {Well that maybe too high, I forgot about the du crazies}.
I have noticed no polling data from the media on that. They seem to be in a fit and frenzy that noone is outraged. It's like the democrat party, the leftists, and the media are in their own little world screaming at each other. The rest of the country moves forward
They can only sell this Shiite to people who believe that Bush is the AntiChrist.
Any normal person would say "why not?".
Yeah - where are the infamous "polls", now?
