It may burn if exposed to flame, but I believe that det cord requires a blasting cap to set it off. I dont think that it will burn with explosive force.

These guys knew what they were doing and what they had:

Missing explosives found in barns

http://www.abqtrib.com/albq/nw_local/article/0,2564,ALBQ_19858_4340186,00.html

Snippets:
David Brown is licensed to drive trucks carrying hazardous materials, ATF spokesman Tom Mangan said, but it isn't known if Brown ever delivered anything to the storage facility.

It is also not clear if the brothers were involved in a December 2003 theft from the same facility of 350 pounds of ammonium nitrate pellets, the same material used in the attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Okla., in 1995.

"They took a trailer off the property, loaded the explosives into it and drove northbound," said ATF spokesman Tom Mangan.

"They stashed the trailer and transferred the explosives and then stored them" in the barn near Bloomfield, he said.

I think these were scum of the earth good-ole-boy crooks given where they were found and the little I've read about it so far.

Sure looks like it.... but this seems like generic criminal activity rather than terrorism to me.

Yeah...terrorists would never dream of actually stooping to hire a criminal....or simply buy illegal explosives...

I'm curious to know who the buyer was...

"Probably something like John Running Bear, Joe Yellow Feather. "

Young Indian boy one day asks his mother: "How do we Native Americans come by our names."

Mother: "On the morning of our birth the father leaves the tee pee on a walk until he happens upon a powerful scene or happening of nature. The name is based on that observance."

"Why do you ask, Two Dogs F**king?"

Hmmmm. That's a tough one. Were the 9-11 terrorists from some kind of extremist group?

The explosives were reported stolen Sunday from Cherry Engineering’s storage depot eight miles southwest of New Mexico’s largest city. Federal authorities have said it was enough to flatten a large building.

"Fortier, who met Nichols and McVeigh in the Army at Fort Benning, Ga., in 1988, also testified today that in the fall of 1994 the men took him to a storage shed in Kingman, where McVeigh showed him explosives.
