Dear Freepers,
This afternoon I was in a very bad crash. My car is totaled, hit broadside by a pick up truck. thank G-D I have just been discharged from the hospital with just some bruises. I am in a lot of pain, on meds, but I will be OK.
I just want to let you know I am hanging in here, I could use your prayers.
G-D has spared me so I can tell people to drive carefully and stay alert! May you all be blessed with a safe Christmas and Chanukah full of joy and close to your loved ones.
Thank GOD you were not hurt more seriously and that your family will not have to mark the holidays with the death of a loved one...I know too many who have to.

I feel pretty awful right now so I am taking it easy which means limited FReeping :(
I am looking forward to a wonderful holiday with my grandkids. I'm glad that I got all their presents already!

I went head to head with a Freightliner a couple of years ago....and walked away bruised, shaken, sore, stiff...but alive. My doctor was amazed. The hand of the Lord was upon you too....may He speed your recovery.
And yes, I will drive more slowly because of this.
Honey, you got it! I have several of Convert's favorite wines, plus some Tanqueray and Johnnie Walker Black. Will certainly lift a glass of something for you!

You dodged a bullet, so there's lots to be thankful for. Plus this happened in the old year.
