Alouette was in a car crash (bruised but OK)

Dear Freepers,
This afternoon I was in a very bad crash. My car is totaled, hit broadside by a pick up truck. thank G-D I have just been discharged from the hospital with just some bruises. I am in a lot of pain, on meds, but I will be OK.
I just want to let you know I am hanging in here, I could use your prayers.
G-D has spared me so I can tell people to drive carefully and stay alert! May you all be blessed with a safe Christmas and Chanukah full of joy and close to your loved ones.

cars are like DUmmies - of limited utility and easily replaceable.

Glad your ok... I've been in some close calls myself.. It's maddening on the highways. I've been experiencing some frieghtfull times. Seeing trash coming from trucks on to my windshield makes me want to cover my eyes while my windshield gets rocked. Watching trucks try to push me off of the road. Me and Mine can use some prayers too. We were broadsided by Katrina. We Lost our dream of building a house to live in. We are now homeless and now jobless.

OH No... well, it's good that you're at least mostly OK.
I've been in a couple of accidents myself. Never got hurt, but it was too close. It's getting to be too darn scary out there.
Prayers up. Hope any injuries heal quickly.
