What do NY, Mass, RI, and DC all have in common?

If you said they are the four most socialist/liberal states, you'd be right. Guess what else they have in common? They are the only 4 states to have their populations decline!

This spells doom for those states. Without a growing population the stores will go out of business, taxes revenues will dry up and they will raise taxes and/or cut services that there sheeple have come to "enjoy". It's over for those states.

Unless you're trying to create a Logan's Run type society, you need your population to grow and liberal policies will not help that when people can freely move to another state with more conservative/libertarian economic policies.

Louisiana. How many people from New Orleans (mostly Democrats) won't come back?

3.5% increases for Arizona and Nevada. Nevada's increase is probably retirees from Southern California. But how much of Arizona's increase is attributable to illegals?

I'm sure this is true for all 4, but, since I live in Mass., I'll confine my remarks to this lovely state:

We have a lot of Baby Boomers. Aging Baby Boomers. Real Estate prices, and property taxes are sky high. You think the state population is dropping now? Just wait until more of those Baby Boomers start to retire and move to Florida. Due to costs and to weather, this is not the state you want to old in

Calif. 36,132,147

CA has more illegal alens (around 5 - 7 mil out of 36 mil) than the total populations of all but a few states.

I can't believe Ohio is gaining population (albeit barely).

Apparetnly the flight of those with jobs is being more than offset by the breeding prowess of our permanent victim class.

Add 30% to Cal, Tex, Fla, & NJ for the illegals.

Massachusetts has plenty of jobs, and all kinds of jobs, too. The problem is that housing prices are ridiculous and young people who want to own a home someday and raise a family don't believe they can do it here.

My brother's mother-in-law, sister-in-law, oldest step daughter, several of my friends and their families will not be going back.

I don't know if they were all democratic, but none of them was poor and black, most of them were professional, and they are out of there.

I think it is a combination of both. The same goes for Idaho (1,429,096 2.4).

Working Americans are all about quality of life. They will move to where they can enjoy that quality. Here in New York it really seems like the government wants to punish workers and give, give, give to the disadvantaged (not completely sure what that means). All I know is I work 40 hours per week and can't afford a cell phone but I see many unemployed with the best cell phones available.

Don't get your hopes up. When these states lose population, it's mostly a matter of their own people moving to other places -- and bringing their political attitudes with them.

New Jersey and Connecticut have become solidly Marxist states due to transplanted New Yorkers, and over the next couple of decades I'm predicting that one of the biggest challenges the GOP will face is that these same folks will turn once-conservative states like Virginia and North Carolina into toss-up states.

As a follow-up to my previous post, I'll add that displaced Californians will have the same impact in places like Arizona and Nevada.

Those that learned how to work for one. Those that got onto the gravy train elsewhere for another. Those that got busted for rape, drugs, murder, etc. for the rest.

Mass has a lifeless and hostile culture. It has been pc'ed to death.

Based on this, here's the net effect on the Congressional Delegations from each state:

Arizona +1
Florida +1
Iowa -1
Mass -1
Nevada +1
New Jersey -1
New York -1
Ohio -1
Penn -1
Texas +2
Utah +1

Red States doing quite well.

When these states lose population, it's mostly a matter of their own people moving to other places -- and bringing their political attitudes with them.

This is why the Dems think that Nevada will be in play in 2008. Democrat geezers from the Los Angeles area are retiring to Las Vegas, bringing their corrupt political habits with them.
