A last Christmas in Palestine?

Over two thousand years ago, in a town called Bethlehem, the first Christmas was celebrated with the birth of Jesus Christ. On that most holy of nights, a small group of people became the first Christians through the celebration of Christ’s virgin birth. It goes without saying that for a Christmas celebration to occur, the presence of a Christian people is a prerequisite. While Bethlehem, and much of the modern de facto state of Palestine, is the birth place of Christianity, it is also a land where Christianity is dying at the hands of a barbaric regime known as the Palestinian Authority.

Christmas is not dependent on a person, place or thing........
I think it would be a great idea to have the British take the area again. Trouble I doubt we could give it to them.

I hate to say it, but if the Christian minority in British Palestine had understood that it was safer to stand WITH the Jewish minority, and form a common front against Islam, then
Bethlehem would still have a Christian majority; it would have enjoyed 50 years of continuous economic development;
there would have been a free press, free speech, etc.
But when partitian came, they chose to follow 'Arab nationalism'--as if their fellow Arabs would accept them as equals even though they were not Muslim.
They had 1300 years to learn that this wouldn't be the case, and when final exam time came, they flunked.
Time to spray the beehives.

Someone a lot bigger than all of us will see to it that Christmas is celebrated in Bethlehem again.......and that Someone for sure will take care of ensuring that the Philistine Authority (alias P.A.) isn't ruling Bethlehem any longer!
We can only pray.

Welcome to the joys of Dhimmitude. I live in northern New Jersey and many of the Arabs here are Arab Christians who have left Palestine because of the persecution. Where are the Knights Templar when you need them?

In addition to economic oppression, Palestinian Christians face a far greater threat in the form of violence from their Islamic neighbors.The worst recent example of such violence has taken place in Palestine’s only all Christian town of Taybeh. In what has been described as a pogrom against the town’s 1,500 Christians, a group of Muslim youths from the neighboring village of Dair Jarir carried out a two-day assault on Taybeh. According to a report by Daniel Pipes in the Gamla Intelligence Newsletter, the Muslims "broke into houses and stole furniture, jewelry, and electrical appliances. They threw Molotov cocktails at some buildings and poured kerosene on others then torched them. The damage included at least 16 houses, some stores, a farm, and a gas station. The assailants vandalized cars, looted extensively, and destroyed a statue of the Virgin Mary." "It was like a war," one Taybeh resident told the Jerusalem Post.
Hours passed before the Palestinian Authority security and fire services arrived. Fifteen of the Muslim attackers, who were arrested, spent only a few hours in police detention and then were released.
Is there anything islam does not destroy? Why on earth do we continue to put up with this destructive death cult?
