Imagine yourself away from your home, perhaps vacationing, during which time a self appointed authority sells your home and in anticipation of your grievance sets up a panel of judges that will decide whether you are deserving of a compensation and in what amount. It's bad enough that you lost control of your own property and have to go through unnecessary legal proceedings but when the panel of judges decides to pay you way less then what you could have sold the property... you decide to leave.
Congratulations! You've been successfully cleansed from the territory.
Well, this is exactly what is happening in the UN administered Kosovo prov

The ethnic cleansing of Serbs and Roma takes on the gloss of legality.
Capitalism comes to Kosovo - at the expense of Serbian Socialism.
Big whoop.
Metochia means church land. The principal land owner of Kosovo is Serbian Orthodox Church. The Church was stripped of their property by Commmunists, led by Croat dictator Tito and his Slovene sidecar Kardelj.
Much of 'socially owned" businesses were built on the land confiscated from the Church and from Serb owners by the communists.
What is going on in Kosovo now, is not an example of capitalist truimph over socialism, but quite opposite - capitalism being continuation of Communist policies to trample property rights.
State-owned enterprises are a hallmark of socialism and have no place in a capitalist economy, and whatever happened under Tito is a done deal, whether you like it or not.
You have about as much chance of arguing successfully for a return of land and property to the Serbian Orthodox Church as a Romanov would in mounting a similar case for restitution of his family lands in Russia.
It just isn't going to happen.
Privatization is a fact of life throughout the Former Yugoslavia, to include in Serbia itself, and isn't going to be reversed or impeded by any right-thinking government.
Perhaps you can use the same logic and tell to the heirs of Jewish property confiscated under Hitler that "whatever happened under Hitler is a done deal, whether you like it or not".
Such claim would make you popular in Nazi circles where you rightfully belong.
Albano-Communist anti-Christianity will be dealth with.
Like it or not.

Albanian Commies just doing what they believe in under Tito and now under the criminals in Pristina - seizing other people's land.
How long before somebody is unleashed on these brutes?
But thanks for the reductio ad nazism attempt anyway.
It is pathetic to go "who is worst" Hitler or Stalin.
Albanians can be living evidence of it.
Bump!
This is comparable to a U.S. state selling off Federal property!
See how quick the sale would be put down if Wyoming attempted to sell Yellowstone!
Kosovo, on the other hand, is now only nominally a part of Serbia and Montenegro, and the international community sees no reason to allow Kosovo to be held hostage by Belgrade's foot dragging in the transition to a capitalist economy, so the situation is more analogous to Croatia or Slovenia and their selling off of former State owned enterprises.
Step back for a moment and take a look at the situation - Kosovo is de facto independent from Belgrade right now. All that remains is for the Serbian Government to concede that reality and make Kosovo's status a de jure one.
It's going to happen whether anybody around here likes it or not.
And the Islamofascists are using these tactics to grab Church property as well.
Can't be a good pogrom if you leave the Churches standing, don't ya know!
it's not over till it's over
This sale will be put down in time, when the Serb Army returns.
And they will return, and everyone hear knows it.
Only the Islamofascists and Soros fluffers fear it!
Shhhh, they really think their "Thousand Year Caliphate" is going to outlast the old Reich!
I blame Openheimer for not making bomb earlier.
No Hitler, No Stalin, No Osama.
Dr. Turkenstein Hoplite will learn that soon enough.
