"Well, do you believe anything he said regarding the origin of species?"

Do I believe that all life that we know of on this planet is the result of common decent? yes

Do I believe that humans and apes are closely related and share a common ancestor going back somewhere in the range of 5-6 million years ago? yes

Do I believe that natural processes such as physics, mutation and natural selection are sufficient to describe the existence of the diversity of life forms we see around us without the need for supernatural intervention? yes

Do I think Darwin was infallible? no

If you want me to say yes or no regarding a specific item that Darwin said then please post something specific and I'll be happy to reply. Darwin lived a fairly long time and said a great number of things in that time.

No, you pretty much hit upon Darwin's contribution which is the idea of natural selection. It's not clear to me where this has been demonstrated except within an existing species, but you did answer my question.
