A prayer request for my friend(VANITY)
Posted on 12/20/2005 7:47:29 PM PST by ozaukeemom
I am still unfamiliar with posting threads.
I just heard from one of my best friends in Texas. She has been diagnosed with MS.This wonderful, conservative lady is only 40 and has two young children. She is lucky in that her husband and family are the best there could be. Regardless, I would like to ask for prayers for her and her family. They believe her MS is the easiest to live with, but still... Thank you for your time and prayers.

This is a disease that seems often influenced by prayer. So, she should not give up and learn to stay in prayer as she fights this diseae. I am praying for her, too.

Please don't despair. Many people with mild MS have only a very few flareups in their lives, with years and years in between. Prayers sent.

Be encouraged, mom, that there really are different levels of MS symptoms, and life can be quite stable. Lowering the stress level wherever possible is major in dealing with this disease.
Heavenly Father, we return to thank You for a diagnosis that gives great hope to a family facing MS. Pour out Your wisdom on the treating Doctors, that their information would be factual, as well as encouraging. Set a spirit of cooperation and understanding within the family, that each need would be met. Shepherd this family through the days ahead, Merciful Father, for there is much fear and anxiety. Replace every fear with the assurance of Your Presence and confidence in Your goodness and mercy. In the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen ...
