The hell with the wall. Let's mine the border and toss the body parts back to Mexico.

"Had a labor accident in the United States? You have rights ... Call," reads the ad, sponsored by Mexico's Foreign Relations Department, which has helped migrants bring compensation suits in the United States. Oh yeah, that's really going to open up a warm welcome!
Idiots.

The Mexicans need to understand that the border separates two sovereign nations, and that those who "migrate" illegally across it are not caribou or birds but are human beings who know or should know that their actions violate the law of the United States.

We need Mexico like we need a good rash, like a fish needs a bicycle.
OK, we could make Baja California into a cash cow resort area in a hurry, but there would be the problem of all those Mexicans.
Given that there were Spanish in the New World some 150 years before the Pilgrims, and given what we have accomplished in comparison with the rest of the American continents - what do we need with them!

What say do they have in what we do within our own territory? What arrogance. Pass another bill - doubling the size of the wall.

"It isn't just a feeling of rejection. It's against what we see as part of our life, our culture, our territory."
Note the operative word: "OUR Territory". We have an enemy within the US, a "human rights org" called "La Raza" which means, if you forgot your spanish, "THE people". Not you, Mr. White Man, but "THE people". Get It yet you up there in the liberal Northeast and wacko Northwest? They dont give a c#)O( about our border, only about their "Territory".

"El Presidente Vicente Fox denounced the U.S. measures, passed by the House of Representatives on Friday, as "shameful" and his foreign secretary, Luis Ernesto Derbez, echoed his complaints on Tuesday. "Mexico is not going to bear, it is not going to permit, and it will not allow a stupid thing like this wall," Derbez said.
"What has to be done is to raise a storm of criticism, as is already happening, against this," he said, promising to turn the international community against the plan."
Thanks for painting Madame Cankles into a corner on this one guys! If Hillary opposes the fence, she looks ridiculously womanly weak on Homeland defense; if she approves of the fence, no triangulation in play and thus more Latino defection to the GOP in 2008. Schadenfraude!

I hope and pray they keep this rhetoric up. They have no idea of American politics.

Let them bring their silly suits. All the employers have to say is that the injured was in this country illegally and that they (the employer) had no knowledge of their illegal status until after the fact.
This is just a last ditch effort to recoup some of the revenue they will lose post-wall.

"Mexicans are outraged by the proposed measures, especially the extension of the border wall, which many liken to the Berlin Wall. Some are urging their government to fight it fiercely."
Well if they do not like it, they can go back to Mexico and stay there. This is something that congress should immediately table. Let's see who is brave enough to vote on this with an election less than a year away.

Did anyone notice not ONE reasonable person was interviewed for this article? Seriously- the AP probably could have found someone to "moderate" the views if they wanted, but they didn't.

This really hits a raw nerve with Mexican politicians. Maybe they're worried elimination of that safety valve north of their border will cause their people to look interally for the solution to their problems. Hmmmm?
