WSBT) An Osceola police officer is on the wrong side of the law.
Officer Ronald Lusk faces two felony counts of sexual misconduct with a minor. The allegations involve sexual acts with a 15-year-old girl.
In court Monday the judge entered a not guilty plea to the charges on Lusks behalf. Court documents say Lusk initially denied having any sexual contact with the girl, who was 15 at the time.
Lusk later admitted that he had engaged in sexual conduct with the girl beginning in the early summer of this year. He told police there were six different sexual incidents between him and the girl, and one of those was consensual intercourse.
Police also obtained a diary from the girl in which she made explicit references to having intercourse with Lusk. Lusk was arrested last week after the mother of the now 16-year-old girl discovered her drinking alcohol, which she says he purchased for her.
An Osceola town official confirmed that Lusk was a part-time officer with the department. But that is all she would say and his status with the department remains uncertain.
Lusk is free on bond tonight. The judge told him he could not have contact with the girl. NEWS22 tried to reach Lusks attorney for comment, but has been unable to reach him.
Prosecutor Michael Dvorak says its unfortunate that this incident involves a police officer, but he has to vigorously prosecute this case nonetheless.

You'd think he would have briefed her
on publicity!

""You'd think he would have briefed her""
Apparently he did 'brief' (or debrief) her. I wonder what would be if the officer was a female and the victim a male, hmmmmmmmm. Would anything be different, I wonder?

What a scum. Pedophiles, male and female, should be put away for a long time. Unfortunately, too often they get a slap on the wrist, especially when they are female, athletes, of Michael Jackson.

Rising star Sesil Karatantcheva tested positive for the banned substance nandrolone at this year's French Open, it was revealed on Tuesday. The Bulgarian faced a ITF tribunal last week after failing a drug test following her quarter-final defeat to Elena Likhotseva at Roland Garros last June. The 16-year-old [she was 15 at the time!] is the third player to have tested positive for an illegal substance at the tournament in Paris after men's finalist Mariano Puerta - who expects a decision on his case this week - and doubles player Mariano Hood.
The 39th-world-ranked teenager - who eliminated Venus Williams in the third round of the tournament - faces a two-year ban if the tribunal decides to apply the WADA code.
Karatantcheva argues the abnormally high levels were due to the fact she was pregnant at the time, only to later suffer a miscarriage.
Pregnant women - and those using certain forms of contraceptive - are known to naturally produce greater quantities of nandrolone, but in-depth tests of Karatantcheva's urine samples failed to find any evidence she was pregnant.
The ITF said they could not "confirm or deny there is a case" for Karatantcheva.

Man, what is the deal
with all these fifteen year olds
having sex? Is that
the age nowadays
when girls feel the most pressure
to "become women?"
