Another poll with a misleading title (not the thread).. the spying was done on calls and e-mails that originated or terminated internationally. This changes the entire legal stance of this issue.
I'm dropping an e-mail to the station, I would suggest we keep up the offense and not let this false reality (domestic spying) continue.

They should have notified the targets first so their rights wouldn't be violated.

What a joke the wording of that poll is, I wonder if the wording were "Is President Bush justified to order wiretaps on known Al Quaeda associates when their calls are to or from the USA".

I wonder how that poll would be recieved?

This is a deceptive question. A yes or no vote implies he did something illegal when no such thing has been proven.

Several points: Bush is following the correct legal procedures, the Attorney General said.
So, the answer is not "No, the president ...." It's "Yes, the president should continue his policy of doing everything legally."
Second point, that's President Bush to you lowly, lying, biased, underpaid, lucky-to-still have a job in a business you are destroying creeps.
I feel better now.

The poll is based on biased assumptions. The President followed the law.
