I found an ad for a favorite beverage of mine on sale. It was for $29.99/1.75m. When I called the store to ask if this was correct. I was informed that it was an error and that the price was for a 750m bottle. The store said that the paper had posted a retraction. Are they still bound by the price that was posted in the original ad?
Short answer is "No". Besides, I doubt they carry a 1.75 liter bottle of your favorite beverage.
I see what you mean. I should have said a little bottle and a big bottle. :0)
Thanks.
1.75 mililiters (1.75m) is less than 750 mililiters.
Sure they do only they call it a half gallon.
1.75m is a unit of length about 2 yards long. 1.75 l is the size of the "half gallon" of booze. 750 ml is the size of the "fifth."
