Louisianna has a whole DIFFERENT crop of corrupt Politicians!

1) There is NO reason, other liberal politics NOT to Split it.

2) The 9th Circuit has twice as many judges as any other circuit. Splitting it would put it in line with the other circuits.

3) The large size of the 9th circuit, means that large numbers of cases are decided by 3 panel judges. Hence, most of the wacky rulings, for example, you only needed 2 ACLU left-wing wackos to overturn the pledge of allegiance.

4) The states, and federal cases that effect them, differ greatly. By splitting up the 9th circuit, you would ensure that cases that most interest the smaller states would receive the attention they deserve. That's why senators from the small mountain states what it split.

5) The liberals have a majority in the circuit. That's the ONLY reason the Liberals don't want to split the circuit. To hell with what's right, power is all the Democrats care about.

Of course, if we remove all the RINOs, that would send a clear message to the rest of the bunch. It would also remove their crutch and force them to fight.

What do you think about removing one of the non-RINO's to send a message? I'm torn between thinking that would send a clear message versus cutting a nose off in spite of the face.

The RINO's like getting the conservative base riled up - gets them TV time, loads of ink in the papers etc. It's just the way these media whores get the attention they want.

I want the conservative senators, the leadership in particular, to get the party in line. No RINO pet projects allowed in any bill - pork, naming of buildings, senator specific legislative priorities (or campaign promises), etc. Nothing - treat them like they don't exist and let them whine.

The majority must be held accountable for getting the RINO's show some semblence of loyalty to the part that is giving them their choice committee seats.

I would be in favour of getting rid of the filibuster, however it's possible we could regret doing so when we are in the minority again and want to stop some Rat insanity from passing.

The Repukes would rarely filibuster against the DimWits however, because they would cave in nearly instantly against threats & pressure from the DimWits and their partisan left-wing media, and most of all defections from the RINO Rat B@st@rds that would effectively defeat any Republican attempts at filibuster. Keep in mind, when Ruth (ACLU) Bader Ginsberg was voted on by the U.S. Senate as Clinton's SC appointee, the Senate vote was 96-3 with only THREE... MIND YOU ONLY THREE Republicans who voted agaist it.

And the beltway Republicans can't figure out why we hate em so much!

Hmmmm, I wonder what will happen next time a Rat president appoints another flaming liberal to the SC. Not that I am in any hurry to see it happen.

What would happen? Well the flaming lib would get an accelerated path from nomination to judiciary committee to actual vote! And the Repubs would vote overwhelmingly for the flaming lib, just to show the DimWits how nice & civil the Repukes are. Just like the Ginsberg appointment!!!

The national beltway Repubs are a complete disgrace & capitulation against the conservative majority base that elected them. I am more interested in defeating Repuke RINOs than I am our known enemies, the DimWits!

"Republicans deserve their first name... - gutless."

Dead on.

The Republican cop out is to act as if this is saving America money.

But every second that circuit is not split, it is COSTING 9th Circuit Americans money, in legal fees and compliance with the dictates of these clowns. And the 9th Circuit is nearly half of the U.S.

GOP Congressmen should be publicly embarrassed, and regularly, by conservatives, who should ask them "If you are so against Americans being subjects of an activist judiciary, how come you left half the country under the thumb of the 9th Circuit?"

The GOP caved in, like they do all too often. But that doesn't mean the issue is dead.

Conservatives need to push for this again in the next Congress. And maybe it can be used against Rocky Mountain Democrats seeking reelection.

Well if they are not going to split it, least send them a copy of the actual Constitution and the writings of Madison and Jefferson and hope for the best.

If this nominally Republican Congress cannot even agree to split the Ninth District, imagine how "divided" and hapless it will be when a "really big" issue comes around.

Thank you, Free Dominoes. Your most enlightening line, "One seat on the 9th circuit of appeals has been vacant for over six years!" is proof positive that if President Bush wanted to appoint real conservatives, he has the opportunity.

Alas, he is a CFR member, Daddy Bush likes to entertain the Chief Perv (Bill Clinton, for newbies) socially, and while all this is going on, Communism Lite gains ground every day.

Bush was, and is, far better than the Goron, but that means little at this point if the Pubbies give away to the Democrats all the Communism Lite goals they want.

There's an appeals seat on the 4th circuit that has been vacant since 7/31/1994. I don't think the rats are allowing any seat vacated by a Rat presidential appointment to be filled and they are dragging their feet on the ones vacated by us. It's time to put an end to this filibuster BS and fill up every vacant seat with conservative appointments. Split the 9th and create some new judge positions and fill them with conservative appointments as well. The filibuster rule in the senate is ridiculous.
